Cover Reveal 'Aqua' by M.A. George

Aqua
By M.A. George
Genre- YA Paranormal
Expected Publication Date- April 16th, 2014

Meet Layla McKelland:
Novelist (unpublished, but cut her some slack…seventeen is a bit early to despair),
Slightly neurotic introvert (Alright, let’s be honest…there’s no “slightly” about it),
International Woman of Mystery, and…
Okay, just scratch the bio.

The only real “mystery” in Layla’s life is why her father has never been on the scene. Or why her mother drags Layla to a new coastal home every year.

Nothing about the latest hometown seems too newsworthy…until a routine day at the beach leaves Layla questioning whether she’s read one too many paranormal fantasy novels. The plot thickens when a random guy claims to know things about her father—a bizarre claim he backs up with an equally impossible stunt. And Layla soon finds herself on the wrong side of a mysterious attempted drowning…on her own kitchen floor.

When all is done, Layla will attest that fact is far stranger than fiction. And nothing in real life is ever as transparent as it seems…Not even water.

Especially not water.

What goes on tour, stays on tour … or does it?

Few people know that socially awkward Adrian Hart is actually rock god Kent Downer, and that's the way Adrian likes it. His privacy is essential, especially now that he has guardianship of his orphaned, ten-year-old niece, Kate. But when the nanny quits in the middle of his tour Adrian finds himself in a bind.

Until Libby Myles walks into his life.

Libby has only ever wanted to become a full-time author and prove to her parents that she can make it on her own. On the surface, the temporary job as the nanny for Kent Downer's niece looks perfect—the pay is fabulous, the hours are short and Kate is a big fan—it's the rock star that's the issue.

Arrogant and way too attractive for anyone's good, Kent Downer has enough swagger to power a small city. But when he's out of costume he's different—shy and uncertain. For Libby it's a far harder combination to resist. She needs to find a balance between work, writing and ignoring her attraction to the rock star, because if she falls for him, it could mean the end of her dream.

But when a horrible scandal is unleashed—putting young Kate in danger—there's more heat between Libby and Adrian than just sexual attraction. Libby must figure out if Adrian ever cared for her, or if it was all just part of the show …

Here's some background on What Goes on Tour and the author:

What Goes on Tour is single title novel and the idea hooked me right from the beginning. I liked the thought of writing about a rock star who wasn’t like the normal party hard singer with a full entourage that you see in many novels and TV shows these days.

I’d love it if readers enjoyed the novel and maybe took with them that people are often different from their public persona.

One of my favourite scenes is probably the dancing game scene because I had a lot of fun writing it.

Something unique about me… I’ve recently taken up vintage motocross and I’m the passenger on a sidecar. I’ve attached a photo because people often think that a sidecar passenger just sits on the side but it’s a lot more work than that!

- Claire

Claire Boston was a voracious reader as a child, devouring anything by Enid Blyton as well as series such as Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden, The Baby-sitters Club and Sweet Valley High. Then one school holidays when she’d run out of books to read her mother handed her ‘Hot Ice’ by Nora Roberts and Claire instantly fell in love with romance novels.

The love of reading soon turned to a love of writing and she struggled to keep within the 1500 word limit set by her teachers for her creative writing assignments. When she finally decided to become serious about her stories she joined Romance Writers of Australia, found her wonderful critique group and hasn’t looked back.

When Claire’s not reading or writing she can be found in the garden attempting to grow vegetables, or racing around a vintage motocross track. If she can convince anyone to play with her, she also enjoys cards and board games.

Claire lives in Western Australia, just south of Perth with her husband, who loves even her most annoying quirks, and her two grubby, but adorable Australian bulldogs.

About Book

New York Times bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon has created a sensation with her sexy stories about the Bureau of American Defense. Now, three novellas about BAD agents are collected in one steamy volume! In the all-new "One BAD Night" the bureau believes that agent Jason Banks has sold them out. Agent Samantha Winslow has never particularly cared for Jason, whom she reluctantly finds attractive, and she volunteers to bring him in. Under orders to infiltrate his rogue mission and kidnap him, she is also trying to pull off the ultimate double-cross. But who would have guessed that Jason would be so pleased to be her captive?

In "BAD to the Bone" Marianne wins the Hideaway Heroine Sweepstakes and a chance to pretend to be the heroine in her favorite romance novel. Whisked away to a remote island, Marianne's daydreams become real when BAD agent Kyle Foster kidnaps her and uncovers her every fantasy.

In "'Captivated' by You" BAD agent Rhea must go undercover as a dominatrix to capture a deadly terrorist. Fortunately, Agent "Ace" Krux, whom she has long desired, is her training partner. Immediately, the roles of master and slave are wonderfully blurred, and Rhea and Ace unleash a wealth of hidden desire.

My Thoughts

I really enjoyed this story found it to be quite funny. I laughed quite a lot at the beginning of the story. The characters were engaging and really like-able .Agent Samantha Winslow antics made this story worth reading she had quick whit and a smart mouth making her engagements with Agent Jason Banks hilarious.

Jason Banks is being pursued by Samantha and the Agency thinking him the traitor. There is more that meets the eye in this story and a conspiracy that will need to be uncovered. Jason a handsome playboy needs to convince Samantha he is innocent but, how to do that when he is tied up and naked ? (LOL) The entire scene of Jason's being tied up and his exchange of words with Samantha is quite engaging and super funny not to be missed.

The two main characters of this story are opposites that attract. They two have been sexually attracted to one another for years and now that have the opportunity to do something about it.Making up for lost time as they say. While a romance develops danger lurks at every turn and they wonder if the will live long enough even to find out what could be.

In  Marianne and Kyle Fosters story it was a really entertaining read. Marianne is a romance writer gone on a Holiday to be part of and adventure that she only writes about.Kyle Foster is on this Island also where he is recovering for an injury which he contracted in the line of duty.Kyles agency rents out part of there island to put on these live adventures for contestants that win.

Kyle is really a loner with his job in all he never finds time for romance until he meets Marianne and decides to make her part of his own adventure taking the acting a step further and only with him.Who doesn't like a dangerous bad boy huh?

What a scorching adventure between the two lovers. The story had a great plot that allowed two people to really get to know one another and slowly and find the love they where only dreaming about. There was tons of romance and intrigue with a twist that the story took keeping you interested and turning the pages. This was a light fun read.Enjoyed this story a lot.

The story between  Rhea and Krux was really entertaining. The two are on assignment to go uncover and into the world of Erotica where clients have peculiar tastes. Its Rhea's job to make Krux an submissive and the thought of that alone sent me into the fit of giggles.Krux is a bad -ass to begin with and is surrounded with a dangerous aura all the time and the thought of  becoming someones submissive is just to funny.Rhea another agent in the Agency being the Dom. to teach him just that. What a uncomfortable situation but, Krux is going to used this situation to his advantage and get Rhea right where he wants her in his bed !

You got to love this story .The awkwardness between these two colleagues is somewhat funny when you think that they have to go to school to learn there roles they now have to play. You are sensing there attraction between the two and they are now both in the position to act on it but, will they?

This was a fun read making you smile quite often and the teasing that goes on between this couple. They are doing there duty but, you got to love the fact that they have a free pass to act out there fantasies they might have had about one another. And it gives Rhea the upper hand to get a little even with a Krux the womanizer or so she thinks making her actions and antics even more funny.

Overall this stories were really great reads quite entertaining really funny and had intriguing stories lots of adventure and danger to keep you turning the pages just to see what happens next. The characters were a lot of fun hope to see them again in the up an coming stories in the Bad Series...

About Book

The last thing Rebecca Massee expects on her wedding day is to go from jilted kindergarten teacher to Amazonian Earth warrior. But when she causes an earthquake after her groom says I don’t, she discovers that not only does she possess incredible powers, she is one of four lost chosen sisters who must fight to keep humanity safe from rogue gods and demons. Luckily she has help: ruggedly handsome Scottish warrior Artair MacKay, her protector and teacher.

An immortal, Artair has trained countless warriors for more than four hundred years. He understands Rebecca’s confusion at the new world she’s been thrust into and worries she is too emotionally vulnerable, but that doesn’t stop his growing feelings for the beautiful and fearless woman.

When an evil force threatens to destroy the Amazons, Rebecca must claim her full powers--but they come at a cost. Can she sacrifice the man she loves if it means saving the world?

My Thoughts

This book is just well "Amazing" it grabbed me from the start - man goes to leave woman at the alter, woman punches him in the nose clearly rearranging it, storms down the isle during an earthquake to run smack dab into the most gorgeous man in the world - wearing a kilt. LOL yep Rebecca meet Altair. And wait earthquake, what is that all about. Talk about throwing you right into the story I loved it.

And before Rebecca can make any sense of it this hulking gorgeous man is dragging her off like a sack of potatoes and tossing her into a beat up ratty old van with a really beautiful woman driving it that he calls Sparks, what kind of name is that. Well as you read you see how perfect it is, fitting her position and personality to a "T".

Rebecca is in for a wide awakening right from the start when she is faced with a tale to tall to believe yet its her destiny her life and its happening right then. Off to find another like her but different and faced with dangers from the get go Rebecca's world is out of control. She is slow to grasp, slow to catch on but fast falling for this gorgeous, frustrating yet amazing Altair.

Soon Rebecca learns she is an Amazon and that her old life is no more everything she once loved and cherish gone forever. Soon they would all forget her. She was born for this, her aunt a priestess to the goddess Rhiannon the earth goddess. The goddess who would bestow Rebecca with her earthly powers, even earthquakes. But the goddess isn't so sure her little Amazon is going to cut it, she is progressing slower than the other new Amazon Megan "Fire" and her sentinel Altair, the one she has always wanted but always been denied (why is that if she is an immortal) seems to have a thing for little Rebecca.

Rebecca trains harder and longer, pushes and pushes but still can't seem to grasp it. Altair pushes her harder and harder, knowing he can't bare the thought of her getting hurt or losing her and knowing the goddess is not pleased with her he can't let her fail. While training goes on the search for two missing Amazons continues, the connection to them is lost, have they died like their sister? What has happened to them. As the search continues they know the battle this time is coming to them.

As Rebecca and Megan (Fire) train with Sparks (The original Fire) and Altair (their Sentinel) she begins to fall for Altair something completely forbidden by the goddess Rhiannon but she can't control her feelings and Altair can't control his. But she knows that once the new Sentinel with her other sisters (Air) and (Water) arrive Altair will go back to his mortal life to take a wife and have a child to live a life he has long dreamed of. How can she take that from him, but what does fate have in store for them.

Things get really dicey really fast in this story as Sparks is desperate to find her sister Helen (the original earth) and sets out on her own, a dangerous mission that has things moving faster and Rebecca is quickly put to the test. As the fight against good and evil heats up so does the passion between Rebecca and Altair. I will honestly say that I was crying towards the end of this book, tears of worry at some points and tears of joy at the end.

This is a really amazing book. Looking forward to reading book 2 about Megan (Fire) and book 3 about (Air) hoping book 4 about Water comes out soon too :) GREAT BOOK!!!!!!!! Absolutely loved it

About Book

Love or Death? A simple question really. The choice seems obvious. But. What if you never knew love, what if your life was spent just trying to survive? What if you knew your fate before you were fully grown?

And then you died.

And you were given another chance. A better chance.

This new life depended upon one thing: your job. And so you agreed. You thought it would be simple. You thought it would be cut and dry.

It never is.

And now you are left holding the fate of someone else in the palm of your hand and you have to make the ultimate choice.

Love or Death?

My Thoughts

This is the first book I have ever read of Cambria Hebert's and I am rushing to get more of her books now and can't wait for the next book in this series.

Dex lives in the coldest place in America - Alaska and lives on the streets, he is street wise but not love wise. He has his little tricks down pat and on a very cold night what would be a normal move for him turns his life upside down. What happens in just a few short moments has Dex doing something he never in a million years would think of doing. And then making a deal he thinks will change his life for the better forever.

Piper is a struggling medical student working a late shift at a diner and on her way home when she bumps into a stranger on the street. She senses something about him, something that she soon learns will soon have her world spinning out of control. Piper has this special gift that she has never shared with anyone other than her best friend. And in the few moments that she touches this stranger she see's something that stays with her. And after a terrible accident she is on a mission to learn more about this man and the who calls himself Dex who comes into her life after.

I love how this book switches back and forth between characters telling the story from Dex's standpoint and then Piper's. Each chapter starts with a word and the definition of that word and that is what that chapter is about. That moment in either Dex's or Pipers life and it revolves around that word.

The story is at times very funny - Dex he struggles with what he must do, a deal made with the #1 death dealer "Grim Reaper" and these feelings for Piper that he doesn't understand or know what to do with. It is also at times very serious - you are biting your nails wondering OMG is he really doing this, will he go through with it. Piper what will happen to Piper.

The never ending mishaps with these two keep the story moving and you can't wait to get from Dex's point to Piper's point and back again. I love the other characters in this book. Piper's feisty but loyal friend Frankie is too funny she is full of spunk and attitude. Charming another who made a deal with the Grim Reaper - thinks he is all that and a box of chocolates - but Frankie sees right through him from the start. And Storm oh I love Storm's comebacks.

This is a great read I really enjoyed it and can't wait to read more of her books. ~Tonya~

My Thoughts and Review

Wow ! Were to start! What a great book and it is off to being a great series. I have not read a book of late that had me so engrossed in there book that when it was time to take my bath that I didn't want to put the book down and brought my kindle with me to keep reading.Just love her style of writing and the humor that she puts into it making you chuckle. All the characters were like-able and lending there part to making this book an enjoyable story.Caia was my favorite in the story she had so much going on in her life to deal at first you thought she was going to be this meek little girl boy was I wrong she turned out to be a firecracker with lots of gumption.Caia is not only a wolf but also a witch who has many powers that she has not even discover and mastered.Because of her abilities and who she is someone wants her dead. She is learning what it is to be living with a pack she is trying to stay alive while learning of her past and of her new abilities and falling in love with the Alpha's pack leader Lucien and making friends all at the same time.I was glad to be on the ride with her. This book was quite the page turner full of life adventure, magic, secrets, shape-shifters and love and romance all the things I love that make reading a story so enjoyable for me. I have now put Samantha Young at the top of my list of my favorite authors she has found a new fan in me.Would recommended this book to all readers and is now in my keeper pile to be read again at a later date.Glad I finally tackled my to read pile lol..
