About Book

After werewolves attack her family, Amelia Singer escapes to Cutter's Folly in search of her long lost grandmother. There she finds the strangest revelation yet: not only is she descended from a long line of shapes-hifters; Amelia's firstborn is destined to lead the pack to dominion over all others. Now power hungry shifters everywhere will stop at nothing to share in that prophecy. Choosing a mate is the only way to end the violence, but how can she be expected to choose a man she's known for less than a week? At the heart of this struggle, Amelia is torn between Chase, who makes her pulse race with a single sultry glance, and Cutter, a reclusive but tempting loner with secrets of his own. Can fiercely independent Amelia find happiness with the pack, or will she rebel under the pressure and take her chances on her own?

My Thoughts

Lisa Olson did an amazing job writing this book I have always loved paranormal fantasy syfy romance books and this was had the right amount of all of it, super story line, great balance, awesome book all the way around.

The book starts right off grabbing you and drawing you in "Just keep driving west 'til you hit water. I'm serious Millie, don't slow down for more than a pit stop 'til you get there, or they'll find you...and they'll never stop coming..." Hello right there from the start she grabs you. You want to know more, why is Millie running, who is after here and why.

Millie has just gone through a great loss and is running to who she believes is her only remaining family member. She isn't sure who or what she is running from or even why. The events that unfolded haunt her and she doesn't know what awaits her. Headed someplace she has never been she is scared but soon her whole world is turned upside down.

Little does she know her life is fixing to become a lot more complicated, but she fast makes friends with Scarlet who she later learns is adopted by her grandmother along with her brother Chase. Little does she know Chase is being groomed for something and her grandmother has plans of her own for her granddaughter.

On a hiking trip in the woods as Millie's life flashes before her eyes as she is fixing to become dinner herself she meets the reclusive and outcast Cutter and she is immediately drawn to helping him, drawn to him in more ways than one. This doesn't fit into her grandmother's plans or Chase's for that matter and her whole world is turned upside down again.

Chase and Cutter are given no choice but to fight for the woman they love, is it real love, or is it manipulation by the grandmother. The winner gets Millie and she has been given no say in the matter. forced to watch the trial unfold, who will be the winner, who will get Millie. Millie prays it is Cutter...but is it?

A dark family secret, werewolves/shifters, a prophecy to be fulfilled, and love - this book has it all and a great story line. Get your copy today.
