My Thoughts....



I really enjoyed this book. This is the first time read for me of Cynthia Edens books and won't be the last. Like her style of writing. This book was very fast paced that kept you interested. Erin hired a Bounty Hunter Jude who is a notorious bounty hunter who is a shape-shifter who turns into a deadly tiger who is hired to track and killer and who is also stalking Erin. The attraction between Erin and Jude is forming almost from the get go and is very intense.Erin although hesitant tries to fight her attraction from Jude as she is hiding a secret that she does not want uncover.But who can fight the attraction not her.Once Erinn's home as invade and she terrorized she flees to Jude arms where the start the quest together to solve this puzzle and crime. A lot of twists and turns and the ending had me guessing but I didn't really have a clue the book after all ended it was a surprise ending which made the book more exciting ! A must read for your To Read Pile...

My Thoughts...

Wow what a hot book from beginning to end. Enjoyed the story it was fast paced and interesting and boy there was sexual through the whole book between Sabine and Rydstrom. Sabine sets out to trap and seduce Rydstorm the Demon King. She needs to become his wife and bear his heir in order to fulfill and prophecy . She imprisons Rydstrom in his own dungeon and sets out to seduce him. But, he is fighting her tooth and nail. But, his willpower is being tested and he finds himself losing the willpower to fight her at all.Being attractive to Sabine is definitely a problem they are fighting on different side her side killing his people over power of the throne and the most powerful ruler of them all. Sabine is in league with her brother doing his bidding to Sabine becoming Queen and begetting a heir. But she is being torn as she finds she is falling in love with her demon after all and is torn about what to do fulfill the prophecy or become Queen of the Demon King and forgo her plans. But the Demon Kings has plans of his own as he escapes captivity and makes Sabine his prisoner. He wants revenge for keeping him locked in a dungeon for three days. He sets out to keep her sexually frustrated and on edge for the next three days and boy what fun that is going to be. His heart loses it taste for revenge an slowly falls head of heals for is captive and wowing to protect her at all cost and making her his Queen and fighting there common enemies along they way ! Action packed beginning to end in the war of the worlds and true love following along the way....

Wow ! Off to a great new series.Sherrilyn Kenyon continues to reinvent the character of Nick Gautier by turning back the clock to when he was a teenager(He first appeared in her Dark Hunter saga)In a engrossing tale where Nick football coach is possessed my a ruthless paranormal entity  and is blacking mailing his students into stealing things of interest for him so he can perfect the spell he needs. Focuses on Nick and has made him a puppet in his skim of things. Torn between doing what is right and wrong he needs to make a choice or he will be among the walking dead before the weeks out.Nick enlists the help of his friends to conquer this demon or what ever entity it is playing along with his game. Nick is trying to learn about his formidable powers, from Death but, he still is dealing with bullies and his smothering mother and a bunch of demons who want to exterminate him. But , he needs to do it quickly so that they can form a plan and crack this case.And engaging tale that looks promising.As nicks formidable  powers grow it will be something to watch as he will be a live formidable teenager and not a dead one.Sherrilyn is not letting you you forget about your favorite Dark hunters either they are included in this new series. Found Nick to be lots of fun ,witty, smart,humorous and a lot of fun to read about in his latest adventure. And as always Simi is one of my favorites as she graces the pages and is a hoot! Nick has has 2 people protecting him while he is learning of his magic abilities and a new girlfriend to boot who is his protector to.Will this alliance work out? We will just have to see. Great for readers both young and old.

My thoughts

My first book my Michele and loved it. Her writing and wit reminded me about another favorite author of mine Gerry Bartlett. I laughed, I cried, and I started wondering if all the hot Gaelic speaking men lived in some sleepy little town in Oklahoma .This little sleepy town had some really HOT vampires where a girl like me would like to find a vamp of her own speaking all sexy Gaelic makes a girl all dreamy and melting inside. LOL I really loved Lorcan and Eva, they were my kind of couple. They both had self-esteem issues, responsibilities, and were strong yet vulnerable on their own. Both grew together in order to get over there complex issues and also learning to forgive and accept the past in order to be happy with ones future.

It seems like a very real town and all these parents are dealing with very real issues: how to do right by their kids, how to set up a working schedule, and how to blend their new lives . The fact that they are vampire's and parents they still had to raise there kids like every other single parent but slightly different. I liked the fact that Eva daughter was accepting of her mother's new life style.The scenes going on between mother and daughter are like any other parents you fight and make up.

Eva's character made me laugh out loud so many of times she was too funny for someone who was suppose to be a mousy librarian. Lorcan had so many layers to him it was nice to see all of the unfolding before your eyes.Several twists and turns along the way. They gave you a little background as to what happened and why 11 single parents where made vampire and why.The other characters when brought over from the first book and included in this book made it fun an interesting. Eva surprised me the most of all forgiving the vampire who turned her life upside down and saw his tortured soul and wanted to ease it by loving him. Not a lot going on in this story just a slow budding romance with two unlikely couples falling in love and one making a sacrifice to save the one they love.

Looking forward to picking up the first that started the series and reading the rest of the series .I am thinking there will be many laughs ahead to read about. Fast fun read read the book in a couple of hours.
