A biker strikes a deal with a cowgirl runaway bride in this opposites attract, western motorcycle club romance. Sons of Anarchy meets Yellowstone with high-stakes danger, small town grit, a delicious slow burn, and scandalous spice.

The moment I climb on the back of Shane Donovan’s motorcycle in my wedding dress, I know I’m in trouble. His club is at war with the local ranchers in my small Texas town, and worse, he’s at war with my ex. One bad decision puts a target on my family’s back, and now Shane is the only one who can help.

So we strike a deal. I’ll pretend to be his girlfriend to improve his reputation around town and he’ll protect me from my ex-fiancé.

Strictly business. No feelings. No attachments.

Until stolen kisses turn into late-night confessions, and our fake relationship starts to feel very real. In Shane’s dark eyes is the acceptance I’ve always wanted. And beneath his inked hands is the freedom I’ve been searching for.

But when someone attacks my family’s ranch and sets my home on fire, our arrangement sends both our lives up in flames—literally. Shane isn’t the only one with secrets hiding in his past. I’ve paid in blood for my mistakes. This time, if I’m not careful, I’ll pay with my heart.

Willow Banks is back in Blue Haven, Georgia, for the summer before her senior year of college. Her goal is simple: earn enough money to pay for the study abroad program she's dreamed of without relying on her older brother, Sawyer, for another dime. After losing their parents, Sawyer became everything to her. This summer, she's determined to prove she can stand on her own.
Beck Sullivan has always belonged at Moonlight Ranch. Between running the stables and raising his six-year-old daughter, Jade, there's little room in his life for anything else. But when Jade's mother suddenly leaves town for the summer, Beck is desperate for help.
Hiring Willow, his best friend's little sister, as Jade's nanny seems like the perfect solution. Willow gets the paycheck she needs, and Beck gets someone he can trust with the most important person in his life.
There’s just one problem.
The teenager Beck remembers is gone. In her place is a confident, beautiful woman who has him questioning every line he's sworn he'd never cross. The more time they spend together, the harder it becomes to ignore the chemistry between them even with the risk that giving in could cost Beck the friendship he's valued for years.
Falling for his best friend's little sister was never part of the plan, but walking away from her might be even harder.

Review for Claiming Her Legacy by Linda Goodnight

Claiming Her Legacy by Linda Goodnight

Genre: Christian Romance, Western Romance

Blurb

With her family’s legacy on the line, a woman with everything to lose must rely on a man hiding from his past…

Oklahoma, 1890

Frontier women don’t ride off alone to track an outlaw—not even women as capable as tomboy spinster Willa Malone. But Willa desperately needs the bounty money offered for her father’s killer if she’s to keep their homestead and take care of her sisters. That means she needs an expert tracker's help. Gideon Hartley has the skill, but the handsome trail guide also has a troubling secret…

Gideon has spent years trying to numb his pain with whiskey. Little by little, their quest—and Willa’s belief in him—is restoring the sense of purpose he thought he’d lost. Journeying into the heart of danger, they’ll have to face down the past together if they hope to protect their future…

“Linda Goodnight is a writer who pulls readers into her stories with characters who come off the pages with life.”

—Jodi Thomas, New York Times bestselling author

Claiming Her Legacy is a fresh and engaging entry into contemporary romance, artfully blending emotional depth with a well-paced adventure. This novel caught my attention because of its portrayal of flawed yet compelling characters and the subtle, slow-burning romance that unfolds between them. Set against a backdrop that deftly balances tension and intimacy,

One of the novel’s greatest strengths lies in its pacing. Rather than rushing into the romantic entanglement, Goodnight thoughtfully establishes the setting and invests time in introducing a rich cast of side characters. Each supporting figure is drawn with just enough detail and mystery to spark curiosity.

Willa, the heroine, is particularly striking. She balances toughness and practicality with an undercurrent of vulnerability, which makes her deeply relatable. Far from a one-dimensional heroine, she embodies the contradictions many women feel, a façade of strength masking a desire to be cherished and seen as beautiful. This complexity makes her not just admirable but believable, bringing an authenticity that elevates the romance.

Opposite her stands Gideon, the quintessential “reformed bad boy” whose rough edges hide layers of pain and longing. For those who enjoy watching walls slowly come down and hearts cautiously open, Gideon hits the mark perfectly. The romantic tension is exquisitely maintained throughout the book, building gradually in a way that never feels tedious. Instead, the slow burn pulls you in deeper, making the eventual conclusion all the more satisfying—a payoff that feels earned, heartfelt, and true to the characters’ growth.
Where the novel truly shines is in its ability to balance emotional depth with a narrative drive that keeps you hooked. The connection between Willa and Gideon is tender yet grounded, driven by genuine struggles and insecurities rather than mere chemistry. The secondary characters add layers of intrigue, and the story’s structure ensures the romance complements rather than overshadows the overarching plot.
Claiming Her Legacy is a rewarding read for anyone who appreciates well-drawn characters and a romance that unfolds with patient artistry. Fans of character-driven stories and the “reformed bad boy” trope will find much to love here.

Release Tour & Review for Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart by Giulia Lagomarsino

Series: The Last Place for Love Book #1
Author: Giulia Lagomarsino
Genre/Tropes: Romantic Suspense; Small Town Romance; Western Romance
Release Date: December 15, 2025
Cover Design: Artscandar

If I had known that night that being in my life would put her in danger, I never would have asked her to dance.

For years, I’d danced around this flirtation with Bailey. We both knew it would eventually lead to that big, white chapel, overwhelming love, and a lifetime together that would rival any tragic love story.

If it weren’t for that dance.

That was the night everything changed.

I’d been planning this night with Bailey since I was in third grade when I rescued her from the monkey bars.

Ever since then, she was mine.

She knew it. My family knew it. Hell, the entire town had been waiting for the moment I would finally make my move.

Apparently, so was someone else.

But there was no joy where he was concerned, only a need for revenge that would destroy any happiness the two of us shared, along with anyone in my family.

No matter how hard I tried, there was no way out.

Her life was in danger, and it was all because of me. And that was something I just couldn’t tolerate.

She was the love of my life, but keeping her alive was more important than winning her in the end.

Once again, this author delivered a perfect start to a new series. Giulia's unique blend of action, drama, humor, and steamy romance shines through in this book, drawing you in and keeping you captivated throughout the roller coaster of emotions. The story follows Liam and Bailey on their tumultuous journey. It was heartmelting beautiful and gut-wrenching. Liam's flawed behavior made us want to shake some sense into him, yet I couldn't help but root for him because of his deep love for Bailey, and his actions were all about safety and protection for the woman he loved. The supporting family characters added depth to the story, and the camaraderie with Jeff provided some hilarious moments. Bailey's fiery personality and her friendship with Cheyenne were a joy to witness, but seeing her heartbreak was tough. Bailey's mom was downright hilarious, and Liam's mom and the way she handled her men put a smile on our faces. She was a force to be reckoned with. Despite the pain and challenges they face, Liam and Bailey's story is beautifully heartbreaking. The emotions are vividly portrayed, and the witty banter of the small-town gossip made things interesting and created some awesome laughs and smiles throughout the book. Once again, a perfect read that will capture your heart and keep you invested in the characters. This story is a must-read; the mystery, suspense, and revenge vibes made things intriguing and left us wanting more. On a side note, we were hesitant about whether we would like this new series, as it seemed so different from The OPS series, which we absolutely loved, which was downright hilarious. We feared not falling in love with another series' characters like the previous series we had read, but we should have known that was impossible. This new cast is fantastic, and we can't wait to see what happens next.

“So, Liam, what took you so long to ask me to dance?”

“Can’t a man have any secrets?”

“Not in this town,” she chuckled.

My eyes left hers for only a moment, but it was long enough to see the entire bar staring at us. “Alright, fair enough.”

“You know, I’ve had a crush on you since you helped me off the monkey bars in second grade.”

“Third,” I corrected. “You climbed up there in that pink dress, determined to be just like the boys.”

“You remembered.”

If she only knew how much I watched her. “There’s not much I don’t remember about you, Bailey Bennett. I’ve had my eye on you since I saw those cute little hearts on your underwear.”

“Liam!” she laughed, attempting to smack my chest with the hand I was holding. “You weren’t supposed to look! You promised!”

I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
