If I had known that night that being in my life would put her in danger, I never would have asked her to dance.

For years, I’d danced around this flirtation with Bailey. We both knew it would eventually lead to that big, white chapel, overwhelming love, and a lifetime together that would rival any tragic love story.

If it weren’t for that dance.

That was the night everything changed.

I’d been planning this night with Bailey since I was in third grade when I rescued her from the monkey bars.

Ever since then, she was mine.

She knew it. My family knew it. Hell, the entire town had been waiting for the moment I would finally make my move.

Apparently, so was someone else.

But there was no joy where he was concerned, only a need for revenge that would destroy any happiness the two of us shared, along with anyone in my family.

No matter how hard I tried, there was no way out.

Her life was in danger, and it was all because of me. And that was something I just couldn’t tolerate.

She was the love of my life, but keeping her alive was more important than winning her in the end.

Once again, this author delivered a perfect start to a new series. Giulia's unique blend of action, drama, humor, and steamy romance shines through in this book, drawing you in and keeping you captivated throughout the roller coaster of emotions. The story follows Liam and Bailey on their tumultuous journey. It was heartmelting beautiful and gut-wrenching. Liam's flawed behavior made us want to shake some sense into him, yet I couldn't help but root for him because of his deep love for Bailey, and his actions were all about safety and protection for the woman he loved. The supporting family characters added depth to the story, and the camaraderie with Jeff provided some hilarious moments. Bailey's fiery personality and her friendship with Cheyenne were a joy to witness, but seeing her heartbreak was tough. Bailey's mom was downright hilarious, and Liam's mom and the way she handled her men put a smile on our faces. She was a force to be reckoned with. Despite the pain and challenges they face, Liam and Bailey's story is beautifully heartbreaking. The emotions are vividly portrayed, and the witty banter of the small-town gossip made things interesting and created some awesome laughs and smiles throughout the book. Once again, a perfect read that will capture your heart and keep you invested in the characters. This story is a must-read; the mystery, suspense, and revenge vibes made things intriguing and left us wanting more. On a side note, we were hesitant about whether we would like this new series, as it seemed so different from The OPS series, which we absolutely loved, which was downright hilarious. We feared not falling in love with another series' characters like the previous series we had read, but we should have known that was impossible. This new cast is fantastic, and we can't wait to see what happens next.

“So, Liam, what took you so long to ask me to dance?”

“Can’t a man have any secrets?”

“Not in this town,” she chuckled.

My eyes left hers for only a moment, but it was long enough to see the entire bar staring at us. “Alright, fair enough.”

“You know, I’ve had a crush on you since you helped me off the monkey bars in second grade.”

“Third,” I corrected. “You climbed up there in that pink dress, determined to be just like the boys.”

“You remembered.”

If she only knew how much I watched her. “There’s not much I don’t remember about you, Bailey Bennett. I’ve had my eye on you since I saw those cute little hearts on your underwear.”

“Liam!” she laughed, attempting to smack my chest with the hand I was holding. “You weren’t supposed to look! You promised!”

I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
