Audiobook Review for Last Day of My Life by Lani Lynn Vale

Last Day of My Life: Freebirds Series, Book 4 Audible Audiobook – Unabridged

She's the definition of lost. Doesn't know her name? Check. Cruelly beaten within an inch of her life? Check. No memory of anything that's happened since she woke up from that beating? Check. Losing a child she doesn't remember conceiving? Check. She hasn't felt anything but lost in a very long time. Then an old biker tells her danger is on the horizon. He sends her to a man that she instantly feels a connection with. A bone deep connection.

Him

He's the definition of despair. After the death of his young wife while on a tour of duty in Afghanistan, he hasn't seen the appeal of participating in the world around him. He's lost the only thing he ever loved. He's been a shell of the man he once was. His only escape from reality is feeling the wind in his hair, going as fast as he can get his old Harley to take him. That's the only time he can push his demons back far enough to feel peace. That is until she screams his name.

Contains mature themes.

Loved this one! Packed with so much emotion and pain and time wasted but, also a miracle. This is a highly emotional story filled with so much sadness, heartache, characters left brokenhearted, and a story that will rip your heart out. Have some tissues nearby.

Winter & Jack met years ago when young and married young but, even then Jack knew Winter was his forever girl. While away and enlisted Jack learns of his wife's violent death you can only imagine the guilt regret and heartbreak the man has been carrying around. Jack is pretty much a walking corpse at this point until a beautiful woman walks into his life once again.

Winter's life story is heartbreaking and painful and she suffers from Amenisa but, meeting Jack she feels a connection to the man she is not sure why but, her heart knows him even if she doesn't.

There is so much that went on in this story secrets coming to life, and their reuniting should have been a happy one but, there are nothing but, roadblocks in their way. The story was full of suspense so much so you could not put it down. The story will make you cry, having you root for Winter & Jack to find their way back to one another and demand justice and truth for this couple. The betrayals have you shaking your head. There were even some OMG! moments. Awesome story with wonderful characters. This story is the type of story that has you thinking about it and mulling things over in your head even hours later and one not easily forgotten.

Release Blast for FEARLESS HEART by Brighton Walsh

Quinn Cartwright sees me as nothing more than her rival...her enemy. But I’ve been obsessed with her since we were teenagers. She's gorgeous and brilliant with a tongue sharp enough to cut glass…and she has no idea I love it as much as I do.

So when she needs someone to put a ring on it because of her a-hole boss, I marry her without hesitation.

We draw up a contract on a napkin. This marriage might be fake, but no one in our small town has to know.

She may never see me as anything more than a playboy, but sleeping in the same bed together night after night makes me want to put my skills to use and prove just how good this fake marriage can be…

This was such a fun and flirty read infused with a ton of chemistry and had tons and tons of hotness. The banter between these characters was awesome even when it seemed like they hated one another the sparks between them were always explosive whenever they were together or even in a heated argument.

The cast of characters was awesome as well as Mabel  she was hilarious, Addison a force to be reckoned with and Ford was just a sweetheart of a man he was kind ,compassionate, funny and we have to say the man made us fall in love with him ourselves. Quinn we loved her sharp tongue and well as her barbs she was so fun and she made us laugh but, also our heart went out to the child who had to endure with such unloving parents. This story had you laughing pretty much the whole book and we absolutely loved all those LOL moments. This was one hot and sexy read we couldn't put down we loved it.

First time author for us and we loved our first read by them and we will definitely be checking out other titles by this author. Can't wait!

Meet Brighton Walsh

USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Brighton Walsh spent a decade as a professional photographer before taking her storytelling in a different direction and reconnecting with her first love—writing.

She likes her books how she likes her tea—steamy and satisfying—and adores strong-willed heroines and the protective heroes who fall head over heels for them.

Brighton lives in the Midwest with her real life hero of a husband, her two kids—one who’s already taller than her and one who’s catching up too fast—and her dog who thinks she’s a queen. Her boy-filled house is the setting for dirty socks galore, frequent dance parties (okay, so it’s mostly her, by herself, while her children look on in horror), and more laughter than she thought possible.
