Fall Love by L.B. Dunbar is the perfect cozy read when all you want to do is curl up with a good book and do nothing else. This novel features Neve Snowe and Tate. This couple is complete opposites. Neve is an auto mechanic, and Tate is a very successful businessman. What they do have in common is explosive chemistry. The plot is filled with family legacy, beautiful friendships, family, love, and folklore, filled with heart and soul. The characters were lovable, engaging, and delightful. Some might find this story predictable, but it was a nice change to find a couple in their predicament who are a later-in-life couple, never thinking or wanting kids, and the other was craving a wife and child, something they had dreamed about for years. One wavers about whether they will be a good enough parent, and the other will rock at it. Tate is a standout character, perfect boyfriend material and swoony. This man is blessed with a huge and giving heart and a protective nature. There were so many swoon-worthy moments between him and Neve. Sometimes you felt he was the only one who carried the load to create a solid family unit. Neve a character who is strong and independent, but she is not good at communication; her worries could have been solved with a simple conversation. She is fierce and a fighter when it comes to protecting her family's legacy. Those readers looking for a cozy fall read that is light and fun, with characters with palpable chemistry, and those small-town vibes one could see yourself living in, and with a cast of wonderful characters, this one is for you. This was a heartfelt, emotional plot that engages your emotions. One of our favorite things about the story is when Neve kept referring to her unborn child as little wrench; every time she said it, we laughed out loud, and it became addictive for others to use that nickname too! Ryan West and Erin Mallon were awesome narrators! They brought these characters to life; so easily we finished it in one sitting.
