Another great read in this ongoing series. We thought the characters were great especially Erin she was a breath of fresh air. Loved the sexy Cole as well.
Who would have thought one sexy fling would get so complicated? Cole is one of those bruting sexy characters whose troubled and complicated childhood shaped the man he is today and his outlook on life. His job is complicated his work dangerous work he now carries some demons because of it but, clearly is capable of compassion and love he just doesn't feel deserving of it.
Although Erin and Coles's situation was complicated they were great together and their chemistry was hot but, heartbreak is written all over them and someone is bound to get hurt. Loved Erin's support system, especially her brother's overprotective nature, and loved how she had such a cool mom.
Overall this was a fun and sexy romp infused with a ton of sexiness, flirtation, a bit of suspense, wholesome and caring characters, friends, family hot and sexy men, and a whole lot more. Loved that Erin was fighting for both her and Cole's future and how she loved unconditionally regardless of who they were and believed in second chances for families and friends alike. One of the things we loved most about Cole is his possessiveness his kind and caring nature his ability to cook and put a smile on Erin's face just by his deeds alone. With Cole, his actions spoke louder than words. Loved it.
