This is a brand new author for us and we enjoyed our first read by her. We loved this second chance romance story as the author made it easy to fall in love with her characters Capri and Elias. The story was set in a serious tone where trust is an issue and learning to overcome those past hurts is not an easy task but, you are willing to put in the work because that special someone has always owned your heart.

We love a story filled with witty banter, drama, and one filled with emotion chemistry, and passion and filled with a cast of wonderful characters. Capri is not the same girl she used to be and we loved the fact that she made Elias put in the work to earn her forgiveness. Elias and Capri had beautiful chemistry the sexual encounters full of passion and we steamy.

Overall this story was quite entertaining with the Fake engagement, secrets, lies, getting over the heartbreak of one's past, the betrayals, vengeance, friendship and love, and reuniting soulmates who we always meant to be. We thoroughly loved being on the emotional rollercoaster ride of a story. We can't wait for the next book in the series.

This was such a fun read the characters in this story were great and also a lot of fun.

The story was straightforward forward and had a bit of drama that was emotional and messy at times but, it also was about friendship love, and laughter.

Adalynn wants a baby and she thinks about having one on her own but, her best friend since forever can't fathom her using another man's sperm and offers his own. From here on out the story became one laugh-out-loud moment after another.

It was comical how this couple handles their current situation and as much as these friends try to keep their emotions out, it becomes impossible. The friendship between Cash and Adalynn seemed like they were always in a relationship but, just never gave it a title other than friendship, everyone around them saw more than this couple did for themselves, and that one or more in that party had always been secretly in love with one another.

This story overall was so much fun there were love laughter heartbreak, and unexpected moments and even if Cash and Adalynn never wanted to admit their chemistry was explosive and beautiful they would make a beautiful couple. Throughout reading this story from cover to cover this reader wore a permanent grin and smile on their face throughout the story we loved it.
