Wow! What an amazing read loved it from cover to cover the story was filled with mystery and suspense & love and laughter and beautiful friendships. A page-turner for sure!

Claire was a woman we instantly loved she was bold and brash and spoke her mind she was such a stronger character a single mom who was widowed at a very young age. Also loved her sensitive side and her quick witty banter. A beautiful woman inside and out. Loved how she called Danny Dude it cracked me up every time she said it. Her boys were heartbreakers.

Danny was a straight shooter kind of character who said what he was thinking expressing his wants and is a bit of a dirty talker and all kinds of alpha with a sweet sensitive side. His love for animals was heart-melting. Those fur babies of his were all so loveable and adorable.

The book was intense with a serial arsonist on the loose creating havoc. Time is of the essence before more innocents die. As the story progresses things heat up and it takes a few twists and turns but, his buddies have his back, and Tex is on the case and is working night and day helping any way he can.

Loved Danny and Claire as a couple their chemistry was perfect and beautiful they had fun together and loved that Danny made her smile and it was a beautiful thing to see. We loved that Danny included her boys as well in his courtship. They will one day make a beautiful family.

Overall a beautifully written story that was a bit emotional and also about moving on with life some seeking revenge having lifelong friends and relationships having a beautiful family already just adding to it compassion for animals and falling in love. What more could you ask for?
