He had a way of pulling everyone into his darkness. Then, to make matters worse, he convinced you that you liked it there.

Kyle Davis—ex professional baseball player and current felon—loved Sara, his best friend. Strictly platonically, of course. He’d do absolutely anything for her, even put up with Greer, Sara’s other best friend.

What she was not was Kyle’s best friend. Or any friend at all, to be honest.

In fact, they couldn’t stand to be in the same room with each other, let alone breathe the same air for any length of time.

Then something happens, forcing the two of them to work together to keep Sara blissfully unaware of the danger Greer’s in.

They come up with a plan. Sara doesn’t need to know.

What she doesn’t know won’t hurt her.

The funny thing is, Sara knows all. Sara also knows the two of them are destined to be with each other.

She only has to convince them of it first.

This was a really fun read just loved the characters loved KD and Greer and their back-and-forth digs at one another but, it doesn't take away from the underlying current that always sizzles between them.

We thought Greer was a riot and we loved her sense of humor it was priceless. Those pets of hers also deserve the same title. LOL

This enemies-to-lovers story was a lot of fun still not sure what made them that way in the first place perhaps they just rubbed each other the wrong way or Sara being both their besties had something to do with it but, when Greer ends up in danger and KD's protective instincts take over it was only a matter of time these two acted on what they had been both trying to deny.

KD and Greer have some awesome chemistry and it was not long before either of them became addicted to one another. They burned up the sheets in and out of bed. Even after they became lovers their sniping and sniping with one another never stopped it was the one thing that continued to make this couple a lot of fun creating so many laugh-out-loud moments time and time again.

Overall this was a really awesome read it seemed Greer had a case of bad luck time and time again the situations she found herself in sometimes was almost comical. There was a surprising twist and the end that we did not see coming and we just loved the fact that the way things played out gave Greer some kind of closure. 

We also loved getting to know KD's sister she really made us laugh time and time again and we hope she works through some of her demons. KD and Greer made a beautiful couple and their ending and beginning happened in true Greer style.
