This was a first time author for us, and we have to say we really loved our first read by her. Loved the story from beginning to end and everything in between. The story was so actioned packed we could not put it down, if that was not enough the characters were amazing. I have to say that this was one of the funniest books that I have read because Elliot made it that way because you never knew what she would say next to make you crack a smile and make you laugh, and we looked forward to every interaction with her. My god, we laughed so hard time and time again, what a great personality she had, and we loved her almost from the beginning of the story. We were a big fan of Elliot, she was strong and determined, loyal and simply put a bada**. Tony was a loveable character also the man was drowning in pain and unrecognizable until his friends and until a little half pint called Agent Elliot Smith enters his life on a whirlwind and turns his life upside down. Both characters have a lot in common both have suffered loss and pain, and they also care about the greater good and protecting those who need protecting while serving their country, even if it is in different capacities. What do a Seal and a CIA have in common, the same enemy and a lot of smoking hot chemistry? These two characters sizzled together in an out of the bedroom. This was one hot, suspenseful read, the sexual tension between these characters was a constant occurrence. We have to say, the story kept us guessing who the bad guys were, and we have to say the ending was a surprise in a good and bad way either scenario we did not see coming but, the good turned into everything we could hope for this couple. We really enjoyed this one and look forward to continuing this series. Recommend read by Angels...
