I have to say this is the first book we read by this author, and we have to say we really enjoyed it. I have to say that when I started this story I didn't realize this was part two, put we caught on quickly.

Not only that, but I had no idea that this story was going in the direction it was, and we have to say it was a surprise that we really enjoyed. I thought the characters were great, even Carmen who was a hot mess we really enjoyed.

The chemistry between Cyrus and Carmen was off the charts, those two played some very hot and intense and dangerous sexual games and Carmen might have bought off more than she can chew when it comes to Cyrus but, time will tell, she is one tough cookie who is smart and very clever and his match and every way.

This was one hot ride that kept you engaged and turning the pages. It was dark and intense and suspenseful and had you on edge. One thing we learned very quickly is Carmen was not a girl who acted her age, she grew up fast and learning about her families history and what she had to endure is no wonder. 

Overall we loved getting to know both Carmen and Cyrus and about their past as well as their present talk about lies and deceits and happenings we did not see coming but, we have to say we loved how things turned out.
