INTERVIEW WITH S.R. GREY
Q: Do you have a routine that you use to get into the right frame of mind to write?
S.R.: Generally, I like to be at my desk, working on my laptop. But I can pretty much write anywhere. I’ve had great ideas when driving and have been known to pull over and write a page or two in a random parking lot.
Q: Where did you get the idea or inspiration for the Harbour Falls trilogy?
S.R.: A couple of summers ago, I read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and loved the idea of a mystery hinging on a photo. That was the first grain of the idea for Harbour Falls. Then, one night, “Shutter Island” was on TV, and I was like, ooh, I like that setting! That is how it all got started.
Q: Each titles can be read as a stand-alone novel. What can you tell readers about the connection between the titles and how each can be a stand-alone if book #1 hasn’t been read previously?
S.R.: Each title deals with a different mystery, but the main couple is always Maddy and Adam. If you read the series from the beginning, you get a sense of how their relationship changes and develops over time. However, you can pick up any of the novels and you’ll have enough background in each to get you up to speed quickly.
Q: What was your favorite part writing this series?
S.R.: I enjoyed playing with the components of each mystery, giving out a little bit of info here and there to the reader. But I mostly enjoyed writing about Adam and Maddy’s evolving relationship. Maddy changes a lot from book one to book three. Check them out and see how.
S.R.: I love to spend time with my family, travel, read, and go to hockey games. Go Pens!!!
Q: Any future writing news you would like to share?
S.R.: Absolutely! Never Doubt Me, the second novel in the Judge Me Not series, will be published in early May. I’ve heard from so many readers who are anxious to catch up with Chase and Kay, characters introduced in I Stand Before You, and I think they’ll enjoy finding out what new obstacles the couple has to face.
I am also working on another New Adult/Contemporary Romance novel, slated for an autumn release. This book (title to be revealed soon) features a repressed college student who is ready to cut loose, her beautiful roommate who just happens to go missing, and the roommate’s brother, a hot alpha-male with a whole lot of secrets.

Ms. Grey resides in western Pennsylvania. She has a Bachelor
of Science in Business Administration degree, as well as an MBA. Her background
is in business, but her passion lies in writing.
She is currently working on Never Doubt Me, the second novel of the Judge Me Not series. Expected publication: Spring 2014.
When not writing, Ms. Grey can be found reading, traveling, running, or cheering for her
hometown sports teams.
