Um hello – talk about starting right off with the erotic, steamy stuff. All I can say is Julia you are one lucky woman. Not just one but 2 hot, sexy, gorgeous men. WOW!!!
Just as Julia is beginning to enjoy this new twist in her life, “Double the flavor, double the fun.” LOL the painful past she has tried to run from, tried to keep hidden, rears its ugly head again. More of her friends are dragged into what she considers a stain on her life.
As always Rene Folsom does a fabulous job with her characters. The story grabs you and sucks you right in and you are automatically connected with them mentally and emotionally. It’s like you are in the room while those steamy moments are going on – oh to be Julia – again WOW!!! You can feel the want, the need, the longing and the love that both Aiden and Code have for Julia. Like I said “Oh to be Julia.” You can feel her worry and fright and her self doubt that her past has caused. That Rob might completely destroy her new and happy life.
I will say this book had my emotions rolling. What Julia goes through, no woman should ever have to go through. But to know she has so many who would go to the ends of the earth for her is just absolutely amazing. As a side note, the entire time I am reading I am praying that Coda puts Julia’s parents in their place – wow how sad and pathetic they are. I am hoping that Aiden can finally be done with a long standing arrangement, and that Julia gets her happily ever after, and not just with Aiden and Coda, but with something she has dreamed of and she deserves.
This is by far another 5 star review and like wine, that gets better with time, Exposed Affections is everything you would expect after reading book 1 “Shuttered Affections”, only better. Rene has outdone herself with this book.
One of my favorite sayings in this entire book “How many licks does it take…?” That is all I am going to say – get the book and find out for yourself just what this is referring to…. You won’t be disappointed. Oh and have a super large fan on full going. LOL

In answer to his question, I grabbed his hand and guided it up my skirt. I used his hand to push aside my damp, satin panties and rubbed his fingers against my wet center. Aiden sucked in a tight breath and closed his eyes.
