She Means business...

Sharlene Waverly is determined to have the "new and improved" Honky Tonk up and running before the holiday. For that, she'll need Holt Jackson, the best darn carpenter in the state. But his warm, whisky-colored eyes make her insides melt, and before she knows it, she's sharing her darkest secrets and talking about the nightmares...

He's determined to keep things professional...

Holt Jackson "needs "the job at the Honky Tonk, but is completely unprepared to handle the beautiful new bar owner he's working for.

Sharlene and Holt try like crazy to deny the sparks flying between them, but their love may just be the best Christmas present either one of them ever got.

Praise for I Love This Bar:

"Heart...sass...a lot of sparks and romance...country music. What more can I say? I really had fun with this book."
-Red-Headed Book Child

"Guaranteed to leave you countrified and satisfied "

I love this series featuring the Honky Tonk bar they are all enjoyable reads full of fun and laughter and always have really Hot men in them ! (giggle) Sharlene is an ex -military sniper who now owns and bar and is also a romance writer. Sharlene graced the previous books as a writer for a newspaper doing a story on the Honky Tonk Charm and ended up staying. The Honky Tonk is believed to be cursed with a Charm anyone who owns its ending up finding true love.No one really believes that the Tonk is cursed but there have definitely been an awful lot of weddings of late!

Sharlene has hired Holt Jackson to put an addition on the Tonk. One smoken hot cowboy !Holt comes in tow with a niece and a nephew as there mother was lost to an accident when a drunk driver mowed her down.Sharlene rents her house in town to the family which she calls the Bahama house it loaded with bright Caribbean colors with two bright rocking chairs on the front porch. (LOL) First impressions you got to be kidding !

There is not a whole lot going on in this book just every day stuff, writing, taking care of the Tonk, visiting old war buddies, making amends with family and developing and love story with both Holt and his children.Sharlene has bad dreams at night about the war and she can't sleep .Sharlene wanders at night and always seems to end of and the Bahama house where she sits on the rocking chairs and looks at the stars. Holt see's a pattern here and offers comfort and hot chocolate. Most nights they just sit there talk and cuddle getting to know one another and coming to realize that they have feelings for one another.

Holt is torn as he cares for Sharlene but, wants someone more of a stable someone for his kids and the don't include the bartender and and owner of a bar in his and there future. The Tonk has become a safe haven for her and she likes her independence and loves the Tonk but she needs to decide what she wants more....The sparks are there and she already loves the children and her heart is breaking thinking about when they leave how she is going to ever say goodbye.

This book is full of fun and laughs also with ups and downs. There family get together's were a hoot! Women sitting around discussing family life, problems, cheating husbands and dealing with match making mommas, well, the scenes are pretty funny the stuff that comes out of Sharlene's mouth is just unbelievable. There is definitely something a foot a the Tonk with its vintage atmosphere and oldies jukebox. The Charm seems to be working they just don't know it yet!The characters where very engaging, funny, loving and a caring bunch. This was a light fun read .This book was a pleasure to read and as always I am looking forward to the next adventure. A great book to curl up to on a rainy day !A Recommended read both this book and its series.
