SHE IS SIN PERSONIFIED…
Cursed by past tragedies, notorious Highlander Laird Athdar MacCallum has devoted himself to leading his people—and has vowed never to marry again. Until he is utterly disarmed by the innocent beauty in the eyes of Isobel Ruriksdottir…
Isobel is drawn to the vulnerability she senses behind the fearsome facade of the clan chief. But with his formidable reputation, he is strictly forbidden. Being together can only lead them into danger, yet the temptation to risk all for their perilous passion is impossible to ignore.

Our Review

I really enjoyed this story.I love reading about those Hunky Scottish Warriors.Loved all the characters they were engaging fierce and fun to read about .

This was a nice easy read.Isobel is determined to engage Laird Athdar attention any way she can. Athdar MacCallum's past luck with women has been nothing but bad luck to the point he thinks he is cursed so he swears off all involvement with women who might lead him astray.Isobel is not to be put off and will do anything she can to win the heart of the warrior she has always loved.

Athdar would have to be one of my favorite characters. He was kind and gentle when warranted and fierce and determined all rolled up into one.You feel for his character as we realized how much he really does like Isobel and maybe even half in love with her but fights his feelings for her as he does not want to be responsible for another wife or women attached to him because they end up dying.

Isobel is young and determined and a clever little chit. She engages the help of the Lairds wife (Athdar's sister) and her mother to help to win her man.Isobel was a sweet and kind lass but had a extremely clever mind and immediately plans her attack on her fierce warrior.

This was really a engaging story.A little bit of romance with mystery and danger floating about.Isobel really made me like her a lot.Her personality was infectious .Not only that but anyone who met her fell half in love with her.She really made with story fun to read as she had a larger then life personality. This couple had slightly rocky start but Isobel is determined to get what she wants. She was clever enough to unearth a dangerous plot that involves the people that she loves and cares about one that was in the making for many years.I was rooting for this couple from the beginning hoping that Athdar would give in to his stubbornness so that he might find his one true love and mate.

I really enjoyed this story and have learned it is part of a series and plan to go back and read the previous books in its series.I really enjoy Terri's books she has a fan in me.Would recommend this book to others if you are looking for and engaging tale not overly done !
