Wicked Intentions (Maiden Lane, #1)Wicked Intentions by Elizabeth Hoyt

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Loved this book. Thought is was really good from beginning to the end. Lord Caire enlists the help of Mrs. Dew who basically lives in the rough side of town where she runs a house for children in need. He is willing to pay her for her services to show him around town and talk to people he needs questions from who are not willing to talk to him but will talk to Mrs Dew. They strike a bargain between them where he gives the funds to Mrs Dew to save her house from going under in order to keep there doors upon to the needy children in her care.Lord Caire wants answers to why and who killed his Mistress and will stop and nothing to find the answers to his questions and solve this murder. Lord Caire and Mrs Dew have quite the adventure together and falling in love along the way. What a great romance with a little mystery couldn't put the book down. A keeper in my book . Look forward to the next book in the series.
