La Vida Vampire (Oldest City Vampire #1) by Nancy Haddock

La Vida Vampire (Oldest City Vampire, #1)La Vida Vampire by Nancy Haddock

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Enjoyed this read. First book by Nancy for me and it was cute little mystery.Loved the characters and the funny little vampire girl trying to be as human as possible loved her sense of humor. Cesa is being treated as a murder suspect being guarded by a cop named Saber who used to be a vampire hunter. The two have a slow budding romance with a lot of sexual tension but the two can't seem to fight the attraction. A who would want to with a sexy hunk like Saber and Cesa being a virgin vampire to boot. The two go and a hunt to solve several murders and clear her name with the two working together and the only cop (Saber) who is on her side and believes in her innocence the two will prevail and solve this mystery together and prove the rest of them wrong the clues are building by the minute and soon all will be revealed. Looking forward to the next book it is looking like these characters are going to be turning into sequel books !
