Kristen Strassel
Publication date: September 3rd, 2020
Genres: Adult, Paranormal, Romance
When this alpha is threatened with losing his pack’s land, he turns to a reality show to find the one thing he needs to save it—a mate.
Saint doesn’t want trouble, but this cowboy is about to lose the ranch and fortune he’s worked so hard for. He refuses to let his pack legacy die, but without a mate, the land treaty becomes null and void.
Gretta is the last person his wolf should choose to fill that role. She’s been making trouble look good on the internet for years. But when her faƧade is exposed, Saint can help her repair her reputation as a country girl. All she has to do is commit to this wolf forever. That is, if she’s actually cut out for the life he’s offering her.
But controversy follows Gretta everywhere, including Colorado Ranch. Will her past steal his future? This time, the legacy of an entire pack is on the line…
Join The Real Werewives for this fun and STEAMY season on Colorado Ranch and follow each couple as they find true love after forty.
EXCERPT:
“Stephanie has videos of women who want to meet us.” Levi broke the tension with his reminder. “Don’t know about you, but even if this all goes to shit, it would be nice to wake up with a gorgeous woman in my bed.”
A few grumbles of agreement and order was restored.
Stephanie handed us all notebooks. “We’ve never done this any other season, and I want to make sure we stay respectful to our Werewives. They’re brave to uproot their lives and take a chance on a bunch of unknown wolves who needed them a hell of a lot more than the ladies need the pack. As you watch each audition write down your thoughts. Would you like to get to know her? It’s okay if you don’t see a mate connection right away. Like I’ve said, this is a totally new way of doing things, and we’re just gauging interest. We want to make the best possible matches. I’m the only one who will ever see these notes.”
Tension filled the room as all the guys got more serious than I’d ever seen them. They might have busted my balls about my methods, but there was no doubt how badly they wanted this to work.
“What if we know one of them is our mate?” Sterling asked.
“Write it down, and I’ll prioritize filming your episode.” Stephanie’s finger hovered over the keyboard. “Ready?”
This moment would change the course of our pack. “So ready.”
“These videos are short introductions. The ladies will tell you a little about themselves, and why they think they have what it takes to be a Real Werewife. If you have any questions for her after watching her video, write those down too.”
She hit play.
Silence filled the room before the video started. A pretty woman appeared on the screen, telling us a little about her life and how she saw it as an adventure. The guys stared at the screen, looking for a sign she was the one.
Stephanie paused the video. “Would you rather I stop after each one so you can write your notes that way?”
“Yeah. I don’t want to miss anything,” Austin said.
My stomach filled with dread and my wolf grew restless inside me as we watched the videos. After each woman’s name, I put a question mark. Maybe. No one struck me as the one, and I glanced over at the guys, wondering if they had the same feeling I did.
But my wolf pushed doubt aside when the next woman appeared on the screen. She was beautiful, with long dark shiny hair and green eyes that made me do a double-take. Was she a shifter? No matter who she was, she was wild.
“Hi. My name is Gretta Goodson and I have a confession to make.”
“Her.” I broke Stephanie’s rule, but my wolf was feeling a whole bunch of unfamiliar things and he was twisting inside me, desperate to make himself heard. “Get her here. Now.”
“Don’t you want to hear her confession?” Mason asked. “I’ve got to admit, I’m curious as hell.”
“Don’t need to,” I growled. My wolf had already told me everything I needed to know about Gretta Goodson.
Mate.

Because the Night by Kristen Strassel Book Blitz and Giveaway

Because the Night
Kristen Strassel
(Night Songs Collection #1)
Publication date: April 1st 2017
Genres: New Adult, Urban Fantasy

Sex, blood, and rock n’ roll.
Immortal Dilemma is the hottest show on the Las Vegas Strip, and Tristan Trevosier is their biggest star. But to me, he’s the guy who broke my heart and then showed up on stage claiming to be a vampire.
Now I fear it might be true.
The true darkness of Tristan’s world terrifies me, but when I end up chasing after a vampire, dating his enemy, and hunted by his creator, I realize the only person who will get me into trouble—is me.
EXCERPT:
The tables at Embrace were full by eleven. Donors swirled around the tables, stopping to let a vampire drink, then going back to the rotation with dripping blood from the wound, until the next vampire beckoned them. Many of them had multiple wounds on major arteries. And those blank expressions. It was impossible to tell if they enjoyed it, hated it, or didn’t feel anything anymore, which terrified me the most.
Most of the patrons wanted Venom or wine, and mostly by the bottle. Easy. Two waitresses joined us as the night progressed. High tickets, generous tips, and very little to complain about.
The noise level in the room rocketed after midnight. A rowdy group of guys bellied up to the bar, ordering shots of Patron with Venom chasers. I gasped when I realized it was Immortal Dilemma. I didn’t recognize the rest of the guys without their makeup or expect to see them here. It was a vampire bar, but it was my little corner of the world.
Tristan was at the end, and I caught him smirking out of the corner of my eye.
I passed the bottle of tequila over the four shot glasses and then did the same with Venom. I pushed the glasses in front of the guys, stopping in front of Tristan. They toasted and downed the tequila. Except Tristan, who put his down on the bar. He rose on his stool and pulled me onto the bar.
“What are you doing?” I asked through clenched teeth as he climbed on the bar next to me. He smiled but said nothing as he pushed me down on my back in front of the rest of the band, who hooted and hollered in approval.
“Shouting our relationship for the rooftops. Well, bar top,” he said before he poured his shot in a line from just below my bellybutton to my collarbone and licked it off me.
He was wasted already. Great. I should’ve known better than to think because we’d slept together he’d stop being…this guy. The one who made me crazy. He held my shoulders down on the bar and hooked his feet over my legs. I closed my eyes, and tried not to moan as his tongue moved along the inside of my bra top.
He pulled me up and moved in for a kiss. Before he connected I slapped him across the face. The rest of the band whooped in approval or amusement, I wasn’t sure which one. After the initial shock wore off, Tristan chuckled, which made me want to slap him again.
“What’s wrong, beautiful?” he asked with a lazy smile, his cheek still red from my slap.
“You’ll get me fired.” I pushed him, but he didn’t budge. I looked over his shoulder to see if Lennon or anyone else was paying attention to us, but it was business as usual.
He cupped my face in his hands, so gentle in contrast to what he had just done. “You’re in my world now. The rules are different here.”
“Listen to you, trying to tell me about rules.” Like he’d ever followed one in his life.
“You better start getting used to them.” He had the nerve to laugh again. I gazed out at the tables with a huff as he nuzzled my chest, and my mouth dropped when I saw the crowd parting for Talis. Her entourage trailed behind her— with Blade in tow—bound by his wrists and legs, his bruised face vacant and dark.
I pulled Tristan off me by his hair.
“You like it rough, don’t you?” Desire swirled in his eyes. “We could go into one of the back rooms, or we can continue right here. It’s fun with an audience.”
“Shut up.” I turned his head towards Talis. “She’s got Blade.” I pushed him away, and this time he moved. “Did you know about this?”
“No, but she knows what I do. And you’re her employee. There are no secrets at Embrace.” He watched Blade get dragged into one of the VIP rooms—that minutes before he suggested we use for a quickie—without a hint of sympathy.
I jumped off the bar. This time I wouldn’t slap Tristan, I’d strangle him, and get even madder when he thought it was hilarious. I grabbed Lennon’s arm as she poured a drink.
She nearly dropped the bottle. “What’s going on?” she asked.
“Talis just marched Blade into the backroom. He’s hurt. He’s bound. Did you see him?” My heart thundered in my chest.
“I don’t think anyone saw anything but you and Tristan.” She winked at me.
“I’ll be back.”

It all started one Fourth of July after a hair band show and a few drinks. I had a dream about a girl trying to make her way in Las Vegas that was so vivid I actually moved there to try to write a book about it. It took me almost ten years and a move back to Boston to get it done, but that dream became Because The Night. My love of dark paranormal books and the biographies of 60’s and 70’s rock stars inspired my writing style. I write a lot, but when I’m not doing that I can probably be found on a movie set doing makeup. I also love making my house look like a Pinterest board, cooking, watching football, and traveling. I live with my cockatiel, McGee, and I'm always in search of the next happily ever after.
