Wow ! What another amazing read by Bethany Kris !I just love this author and everything she writes.The story drew me right in from the very first pages and once I started reading it I could not put it down.The story was gripping and suspenseful and had a great cast of characters that you could not help but love them.This author impresses me each and every time I start reading a book by her she just draws you right in and grabs your attention right from the very first pages to the very end.

I loved Alessio and Corrado story their love story was intense and filled with tons of chemistry and a whole lot of hotness.I just loved them both.The story was also an emotional one and one with a lot of ups and downs and I have to say that toward the very end I even teared up and my heart broke for Alessio and what he was going through.

Overall simply and amazing story that we did not want to see end and I think we will be hearing from these characters very soon as they have a lot of unfinished business.And engrossing tale from beginning to end and you just got to love these mafia families their dangerous and deadly but, one thing is for certain is that they just love there kids right down to their very bones .

I have to say that I absolutely loved this story from beginning to end as it was so much fun and was infused with tons of humor and we loved that in a story.The more books I read from this author the more we fall in love with her works of fiction.

We really enjoyed the plot and its character's and we loved that it revolved around a group of sisters. I really loved Melody's and Jaxson's love story their entire courtship was down right hilarious and I have to say that I laughed through the entire story.

I always pick a favorite character but, this time around it was extremely hard but, my choice is Melody in the fact she had such an amazing sense of humor. A also found her to be sweet ,kind and caring,smart,emotional, sexual and was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside.

Jaxson - We found him to be sexy,sweet,kind,had a sense of humor and possessive as well as protective and really good at his job.I think we fell head over heels for him our self from our first being introduced to him. Just yummy....

These character's had some major chemistry going on to the point they couldn't keep the hands off one another so that meant there was a lot of sexy love scenes happening throughout the entire story. Can you say Hot! Hot ! Hotter ! lol

Overall we loved the plot and the drama the few twists as well as few surprises that was filled with a great cast of character's and we loved them all.We loved the sweet romance and courtship between Melody and Jaxson that was pretty much love at first sight kind of thing but, they were really perfect for one another in every way.We also loved that the author found a way to include some of the Dogs of Fire MC members that was a nice touch as we love that series.I am really looking forward to getting caught up on this series very soon.

One thing we loved about the story the most is that is was easy to connect with the character's right from the very beginning and we were already pretty much loving them from the onset of the story and when that happens for us we already know we are going to love the story before us and we did just that !

Goes into the keeper pile to be read time and time again.

Let's start off by saying I am really loving this series and the more books I read from this author, the more I fall in love with her works.

Wow ! We love romance reads like this one. The forbidden romance theme where everyone connected to you tries to keep you apart, we have a mafia princess and a boy from the hood who is a dealer who works the streets pedaling drugs just to keep food on the table. How more apart could their worlds be?

For both Lucia and Renzo, is and was instant attraction from their onset of meeting one another. Common sense played havoc with Renzo's emotions to stay far and wide away from Lucia, but, his heart says something different entirely. For this couple it is all about what the heart wants what it wants is Lucia and vice versa but, there are going to be tons of obstacles going forward and a major one of those is who her family is.

In this story I saw from the onset of the story exactly why Lucia was drawn to Renzo, and she saw beneath his circumstances and got to know the man within, and in her mind he was no different from the men of her family other than geography and wealth.

I will say as much as I loved this story, Lucia did piss me off a little bit as I thought she should have been a little more understanding when it came to her families concern for her considering her life did a total 180 after taking up with Renzo.

I got a little bit sick and tired of her constantly throwing out that she was 18 now and an adult she could do what she wants but, acted at first anything but.

For me, I think that throughout this entire story Lucia forgot who exactly who she really was (meaning a mafia princess) and what that truly meant and that she would never be a commoner not matter how she might want have wished it. Her entire family members were an extremely dangerous bunch a crime family to boot but, and that enemies come with that kind of prestige in the underworld that her family ruled. Lucia never once considered those tiny little details going forward or about her own safety. Never once did her father or brother forget, and there laid one of the biggest obstacles and problems going forward with Lucia's new-found freedom. She had a family who loved her and gave her every advantage yet time and time again acted selfishly yet , she was also giving and kind and truly felt the pain and sadness for the plight of others that were less fortunate than herself.

Renzo we found to be sexy, caring, loving, determined, some huge brass balls, bad*ss in his own right, creative, intelligent, a planner, down right dangerous if crossed, sneaky and sly, possessive, protective of all those he loved but, what we loved about him most of all the self sacrifices he made on a daily basis for his family while all the time doing a job he hated but, did it to provide for his family.

I have to say that this was a story that kept you glued to the pages the entire time because Renzo kept surprising us at every turn at how far and the lengths he was willing to go to keep Lucia in his life and his family safe.

"Cheeky little devil!"

We loved the drama and the plot, as well as getting to know a new cast of amazing character's for us to love as well as fall in love with. Lucian was another favorite of mine..... 

Renzo was my favorite character, hands down." I loved him from the onset of the story!"  and I have to say that I was a little bit in love with him myself. We loved everything about him, the good and the bad and the ugly.

We loved Renzo's relationship with his brother and sister as also Lucia and how protective he was of them, possessive of them and loved them well. Because of all of these things, this is just some of a few reasons that made Lucia fall in love with him and fall hard.

We can't wait for the next installment to come out, and we highly recommend checking out this author, mafia books because everything I have read so far we have absolutely loved, and they have been awesome reads.

We are loving these mafia romance books more and more.

This story was a continuation of Renzo and Lucia's story from book one.Talk about how opposites attract and this couple would be the perfect example as they are so different from each other in every way other than the ability to love whole heartedly.

I have to say that this was a story that kept you glued to the pages the entire time as things were constantly changing and the danger kept getting even more real but, this time around even more was on the line .

Renzo was my favorite character hands down ."I loved him from the onset of the story!"  and I have to say that I was a little bit in love with him myself.We loved everything about him the good and the bad.

Renzo we found to be sexy,caring,loving,determined, some really big brass balls, bad*ss in his own right,creative,intelligent, a planner,down right dangerous if crossed,sneaky and sly,possessive,protective of all those he loved but, what we loved about him most of all of the self sacrifices he made on a daily basis for his family while all the time doing a job he hated but, did it to provide for his family.

We loved Renzo's relationship with his brother and sister as also Lucia and how protective he was of them possessive of them and loved them well.Because of all of these things this is just some of a few reasons that made Lucia fall in love with him and fall hard.

Lucia was so much more than just her upbringing.I have to say that she surprised more and more as the story progressed and we saw this protective tigress just blossom and the lengths she went to also protect those she had come to love was astounding and so out of character for her. Lucia was the poster girl of a fierce warrior women. LOL We say that because she surprised us at every turn with her deeds alone and even though its no secret who her family is and how dangerous they are I think she proved this time around that she is more like her family members she could ever imagine.

For us the story rocked! The story had tons of romance and some really hot erotica love scenes,had constant drama, a ton of surprises as well as tons of twists and turns along the way and the story that was a little bit intense.I loved the lengths this couple was willing to go to be together and the sacrifices both of them were making to forge and life together.We also loved the character's in this series and we are so looking forward to going back and starting with Lucian's story and how it all began.

We can't wait for the next installment to come out and we highly recommend checking out this author mafia books because everything I have read so far we have absolutely loved and they have been awesome reads.
