This friends-to-lovers romance was charming, and we loved everything about it as it is one of those good-feel romances that engages the reader's emotions. One minute you are laughing, and the next you feel like crying. You have to read the series to understand the dynamic of the building these characters live in. They are not just your neighbors; they are one big happy family who looks out for one another, have each other's backs, and are supportive, lovable, and all of them have this special bond that is unbreakable. Carly found herself within this building in her time of need. Although fiercely independent, she is a single mom who needs a helping hand every once in a while. She is beautiful and loving and a wonderful mom and strong and determined to give her and her daughter the best life she can; she has a vulnerable side she doesn't let others see often, but Bray is her go-to if she needs a pick-me-up. Bray is a character we love and a doctor to boot. He is wonderful, caring, and loving, and a wonderful friend. The man has baggage, and it is something he needs to work through he let's us see his vulnerability at times, which makes him more endearing. The characters in this story are charming and lovable and are a big part of Ava, Bray, and Carly's story, as well as they were all sitting on the sidelines, meddling and rooting for their happily ever after. But, one character has always stood out the most, and that was the adorable Ava see melts your heart time and time again. Bray and Carly's story was one we were looking forward to the most, as we saw from the very beginning, they were meant to be. They all had this beautiful connection, and although they weren't an actual family, they worked as one; it was just that both of them just needed a little nudge to make it official. The ending was perfect for this trio; it made us cry, made us happy, and melted our hearts with so many tender moments that happened throughout the story, and that little surprise at the end was priceless.
