Although both Serena and West had reservations and perhaps even fighting the draw they had to one another, it was impossible to ignore.

Serena was a single mom, loving, caring, strong, and independent, who would put her child first in all ways that mattered.

West was a super sweet guy full of compassion and kindness, and one with a big heart who would love helping those in need. He has been burned badly, and it's messed with his mind and heart.

The story was filled with romance, beautiful friendships, new opportunities, and ex- drama, and had a cast of wonderful characters that were engaging and fun. The chemistry between West and Serena was palpable. They made such a beautiful couple.

We enjoyed this heartfelt story and the challenges within it. Serena really took us by surprise. We never saw her other than as a strong, independent woman, but she was a fierce little warrior as well. She would not be letting anyone push her around or scare her into compliance anymore.
