This was a fantastic read. Claudia's characters are highly emotional, lovable, bossy, loving, sexy, have a wicked sense of humor, and are tormented, but they are filled with an abundance of love. This book will take you on an emotional rollercoaster, but it will leave you with a smile and a warm heart. Vesper, who was once close friends with both men, finds herself in the middle of their complicated relationship. When she discovers she's in a predicament, the dynamics between the three of them shift, leading to emotional revelations and a journey of self-discovery. This reverse harem story is a perfect blend of romance, humor, and emotion. The characters are well-developed, and their journey will make you laugh, have you grinning, break your heart, and swoon over its characters. The chemistry between the three is extremly hot, giving you fan-worthy moments. The angst that goes on between Alberto and Calloway breaks your heart as they work their way through their feelings for one another. Alberto's past is a big hurdle for the trio to overcome. He realizes that if he doesn't work through his hangups, he is going to lose the ones he loves, maybe for good this time. What he really wants is for them to be a family Calloway was our favorite of the trio as we loved how he took charge of everything, made things happen quickly, and went to protect the ones he loved to great lengths. Calloway is a character who sticks out the most because his wicked sense of humor is awesome. What we loved about him the most is that he is not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve and put his feelings on the line. If you enjoy why-choose, hockey, and second -chance romance, this book is a must-read! We love a good second-chance romance, and this one gives you all the feels; it brings out every emotion in you possible. The best part was the ending, as Calloway will surprise you even more at the great lengths he goes to protect the ones he loves.
