Fletcher is given the chance to open one of his family's chain stores, hoping to display his maturity and responsibility after a reckless past. He is determined to succeed, even if it means competing with Camryn, whose baking skills pose a threat to his current plans. Camryn, a talented baker who has recently acquired her dream café. However, her plans face a challenge from the McDowell family.

This plot is filled with witty banter, heart-melting moments, and the community of Hearts Lane is awesome. The best part of this series is the characters and beautiful friendships, along with the inside jokes from previous books, (bubble gun) lol, which add depth to the narrative. Little Ava is a little heartbreaker. We love the dynamic of Hearts Lane and it's one big happy family. No wonder Fletcher was jealous of what these friends had created together and the bonds forged. Hutch is still on a mission. Kase is still mysterious & scary as ever. Drew always makes us laugh.

We enjoyed this enemies-to-lovers story as their rivalry escalates when Camryn and Fletcher join forces for a baking competition, setting aside their business conflict. 

Their partnership ignites a spark of personal chemistry, leading to growing tension. We loved them as a couple and were rooting for them. Fletcher's big gestures went a long way in proving he was the right partner for Camryn.

This is the third book in the series, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone. The twist to the story added some excitement, which we loved. It added a bit of mystery to the story as well.
