The novel follows Faye, a romance author who loses her home in a fire and is rescued by her neighbor Grayson. As they navigate their growing attraction, Grayson struggles to move on from his past, especially with his soon -to -be ex-wife still in the picture. The story features a diverse cast of characters we loved them. They were great.

The relationship between Faye and Gray evolves from neighbors to lovers, with Faye's crush on Gray. Gray's personal life is in turmoil, leading him to push Faye away despite his feelings for her. The intimate scenes are passionate and tastefully written.

We loved everything about the story, the support Faye received from Grayson's friends, the steamy scenes between Faye and Grayson, and their beautiful chemistry. The couple has their own insecurities, and we were hoping that they would not hold them back from what could be amazing between the two. We were rooting for them as they made a beautiful couple.

We enjoy this story that explores themes, the plot was engaging, emotional, steamy, entertaining, with a seductive romance and compelling characters.
