This story introduces a new paranormal theme where the MC brothers, who protect the town and its people, have alter egos as scarecrows; it's their curse. The plot delves into the history and horrors of the town. The story is fast-paced, filled with mystery, suspense, and a captivating cast of characters. Little Mia immediately captured our hearts. The slow-burning romance between Lottie and Scythe is engaging, fun, and flirty. Scythe's protective nature towards Lottie is endearing. Lottie, who has experienced her own horrors before moving to the town where the story unfolds, finds herself entangled in another situation not of her own making. However, she now has a strong protector in Scythe and his club. Lottie's character is portrayed as sweet, kind, and loving. The mystery and suspense in the plot keep you guessing about the who, what, and why, raising questions about connections to Lottie's past or something more sinister. Overall, we found this story intriguing, with fascinating new characters and an enigmatic town setting. We are eager to see what unfolds next.
