Caught red-handed. FUBAR. Soup Sandwich.

All terms that would describe my current predicament.

Just a few months ago, I was happy as can be, reuniting with my childhood friend and realizing she was the one for me.

Then, the senator entered the picture—aka my father—and everything went sideways.

Now Isla looks at me with distrust. The love that used to shine bright in her eyes is replaced with wariness. I’d give anything for a do-over, but since that’s not going to happen, I’ll have to find another way to make it up to her.

So, when she gets a job offer in New York, I go with her, eager to be of any help I can.

But I may also be holding back another secret. I’m not exactly certain it’s safe for her to go. Which will be another strike against me if I get caught.

Enter Fox.

He’ll be my backup, working with me to ensure her safety at all times. I know I can’t follow her wherever she goes. Eventually, she’ll push me away.

It’s a foolproof plan. It can’t fail.

At least, that’s what I thought.

This is Isla’s and Kavaugh’s story this story takes you on one wild ride there are so many twists and turns and ups and downs and secrets so many secrets. This was such a heartbreaking tale overall our hearts are bleeding out of the pain Cash is in and at this point the man we have come to love is unrecognizable anymore. Poor Eva and we are so thankful she is strong and determined and will do anything to rescue her man from his demons before all is lost. This story is breaking my heart for a couple of reasons. Kavaugh's dad is a big pos and manipulative. He does not care who he destroys as he gets what he wants. It makes you think of what Kavaugh's childhood must have been like. Now that he has found love he is determined to keep it, but the pressure of everything and the secrets he is keeping continually is having him stumbling and making bad decisions hand over fist. So much to unpack in this one we loved it and could not put it down. Isla is now caught between a rock and a hard place. We have to say Ike surprised us in this one and we loved getting to know the mystery man a bit more. He has us intrigued for sure. Fox helped with the laughs but, the man was about to get down to serious business and we can't wait to see how it all plays out but, whatever the man has up his sleeve we're ready. We loved the twists in this one but, the ending left you wanting more. We can't wait for its conclusion.

I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
