This author never ceases to amaze me with her books that continue to tug at your heartstrings. This story is a beautiful yet tragic love story that is emotionally heartbreaking. The love between Haydn and Pia iundeniable, with Haydn always putting Pia's happiness above everything else, even if it means sacrificing his own happiness.

The journey for Pia and Wes to take the next step in their relationship was a long one, and a major secret threatens to disrupt the life they had planned together.

The author takes us back to the past, where Pia's first love, Keane Stone, still holds a special place in her heart. She struggles with unresolved feelings for Keane while trying to move forward with Haydn and their future. Just when she thinks she has moved on, her fiancé and love of her life, Haydn, returns from the dead.

The story is filled with insecurities, love, heartache, pain, secrets revealed, and loss. Through it all, Pia finally finds herself and puts the past to rest. The first part of the book is heart-wrenching as the memories and trips down memory lane are gut-wrenching.

Overall, we loved it. Wes is a character you can't help but fall in love with, genuine, caring, compassionate, and hopelessly in love with Pia. Your heart aches for the pain he endures as he stands by, never giving up hope that he and Pia can still have the future they dreamed of.

There is a lot to unpack for all the characters, both in the past and present, as they navigate moving forward. You may find yourself taking sides, but the story will not end without leaving a trail of broken hearts
in its wake.

This emotional rollercoaster of a story is a wild ride, filled with
ups and downs, and secrets revealed at every turn. We thoroughly enjoyed this one!
