This author never seems to amaze me as her books continue to rip out your heart when reading them. This story was a beautiful love story but, very tragic emotional heartbreaking. We love Haydn and Pia as a couple Haydn's love for Pia knew no bounds he always put her first her happiness was important to him even if he had to give her up to see that happen.

It was a long road for Pia and Wes to finally take the next step in their relationship and now one of the biggest secrets ever kept has upset the balance of their new life they had been planning together.

The author takes you to the past where it all began with her first love who was her everything Keane Stone the boy she never moved on from. She struggles with the past and her feelings for Keane that have been unresolved all the while trying to move on with Haydn and their future. Thinking you have finally moved on but, now your fiance and the love of your life is back from the dead.

The story was full of insecurities, love, heartache, pain, secrets coming to life, and loss but, through it all, you finally have found yourself and put the past to bed once and for all. The first part of the book is so painful the memories and trips into the past rip your heart out as you cannot believe that fate could be so cruel.

Overall we loved it. Wes is a character you fall hopelessly in love with he is genuine and caring, compassionate and hopeless in love with Pia that your heart bleeds for the pain he is in as well and he stands on the sidelines but, never gives up hope that he a Pia will still be able to create the future they started to plan. 

There was a lot to unpack for all these characters with both the past and present and moving forward but, somewhere along the way you may have chosen a side but, it will not end without leaving a trail of broken hearts behind. 

This was one wild ride and emotional rollercoaster with a lot of ups and downs and secrets coming to light at every turn. Thoroughly enjoyed this one
