This was another enjoyable read in this ongoing series. This was Bea and Loki's story. Their love story was tragic and beautiful. They seemed to be the perfect couple—some might even say soulmates—but something happened to tear them apart, and now, years later, they have the chance to rekindle the love they once shared with one another.  

This story is heartfelt and heart-wrenching both characters reminisce some of those memories are beautiful and some are of darker times.

Their story was filled with intrigue suspense, healing, forgiveness, betrayals, and healing with family drama and beautiful friendships. We loved Bea and Loki as a couple their chemistry was super hot we loved the characters individually Bea was a riot at times, and Loki was all alpha.  Bea wasn't hiding anymore and would not let anything come between them. Bea took the bull by the horns as the saying goes we honestly didn't think she had that in her to be the one to do it first. Fist pump to her! Grins!

Haven the president's old lady stood out in this story as she is one of our favorite characters Haven's boldness cracked us up and made us laugh out loud time and time again. The story had some twists and turns and vengeance served. This was an entertaining read for sure.
