This was an enjoyable read filled with fantastic characters. We love it when big and loving families are attached or come with a main character of the story in this instance it was Cam's family we loved his family. We loved that Cam's family took Athena into their big boisterous and loving family and hearing her story of her past was something that made his family even more special as she was now considered part of the family.

An emotional read where both characters are struggling to keep the built walls up that they let surround them and never let anyone completely in. Athena holding on to her past that is messing with her future and Cam dealing with some new life revelations that are affecting his future as a pro hockey player.

When these two stop denying their feelings there is love and healing, and where forgotten dreams come true.

We loved Cam and Athena as a couple their chemistry was off the charts. Wow! This was one hot read. Such a heartwarming tale that is filled with wonderful characters and we loved it. This was a brand new author for us and already love this series looking forward to catching up on it.
