This was a fantastic read to start the series what a page-turner we could not put it down the story drew you right in from the moment you started turning the pages and our hearts never stopped beating hard and fast what an intense read and we loved it.

The character awesome Luna and Tristan's stories broke your heart pain and torture in their past it is truly remarkable how they even survived their circumstances this couple quickly learns they have more in common even if their pasts are completely different. I have read a lot of dark and tortured characters before something about Tristin's character changed the game for us and made him one of our top favorite characters in that category now.

The story kept us on edge the entire time filled with excitement mystery suspense, stalking, obsession, bad guys, and the story that twists and turns that were remarkably shocking. This is one hot and sexy read.

We loved getting to know Luna and Tristan their stories were painful and heartbreaking to hear but, we got to know what made them tick and admired them for surviving all they endured it made them stronger but, also changed characters like Tristan forever. We love characters like Tristan who are complicated as he is but, it takes a real talent for an author to make us fall in love with a character like him especially when he could not be further from boyfriend or husband material but, your heart chooses to crave that dark and dangerous man and yet feel the safest you have ever been in his arms and someone who will always protect you.

A monster made me a captive in the dark. Now, I’m starting to love it…and him…

When I first met Tristan, I thought he was cold. Heartless. Maybe even a sociopath.
I was right.
He stalked me. Kidnapped me. And now I’m his prisoner.
I want to hate him. I should hate him.
But I can’t.
Not when he rescued me from an even bigger monster. Not when he’s risked everything to protect me.
Not when he looks at me like I’m the only light he’s ever had in his dark, tortured life.
I know I must do whatever is necessary to escape this cell. To survive.
I can only hope I have the strength to leave my monster when the time comes…

Wow! Just wow! Surprise after surprise in this one. Things even got more complicated. In this tale, we learn more about what makes Tristin tick how and why he makes the decisions he does what he considers safe, and no matter how he goes about things he always has Luna's safety at the forefront of his mind.

We fall even more in love with these dark and broken characters. Things get hotter and more explosive in and out of bed for this couple. As messed up as this usual pair is it sounds like they are slowly healing one another little by little all the while falling in love with their faults and the darkness they hold within.

The secrets being revealed in this one are astounding. We love how Luca and Enzo are so protective of Tristin and how they love him. Not sure Enzo and Luca understand the motives of Tristin's new obsession and the danger it brings to them all but, they have his back just like he has always had theirs.

The characters were fantastic all but, Gino and you don't want to know how we feel about that horrible man but, whatever happens, we hope that when justice is served some of Luna and Tristin's demons will vanish. This was yet another gripping emotional tale that we could not put down.

Monsters aren’t supposed to have empathy. That’s why I was the perfect mafia enforcer. Cold. Brutal and efficient.

Until I dragged Luna into the dark with me.

Even as my captive, she shined her light into all the scarred, tortured parts of my world, forcing me to realize I might be human after all.

And I hate it.

I have no idea what to do with these emotions. Desires. The overwhelming need I have for her touch, her body, her soul.

I know I can protect her from our mutual enemy. That’s why I kidnapped her in the first place.

But I’m starting to wonder if I’m the one who needs to be saved. Because for the first time in a long time, maybe ever, I think I’m…afraid.

After all, what kind of twisted beast will I become now that my heart—the one I only just realized I have—is in her delicate hands?

The ending of this current tale was anticlimactic and we loved every bit of this. Secrets have a way of ruining things but, Tristin for all his faults is loyal to his core and owns up to who and what he is and what they made him but, the one woman who has made him feel and want or might even see a different future for himself will lose the one woman when she learns the truth of what the man has done but, there will never be secrets between them even if it destroys them both.

This tale is highly charged with danger, suspense, and uncertainties. We will say our heart broke for Luna and Tristin their relationship or whatever they developed between them seems utterly hopeless and daunting. Scenes in this latest trilogy tore out our hearts and brought tears to our eyes. Luna is so good for Tristin no matter the titles and darkness that man holds he is the only man who ever made her feel safe and wanted and truly worthy of herself.

Tristin may not know what love is or how to love but, he will give his life he will face his demons and tormentors to save the one woman who has become his obsession the one he shouts his MINE! You will love the twists and turns this story takes the stakes are high, and revenge almost seems possible now as the puzzle pieces have just now fallen into place.

This was another gripping tale worth reading filled with fantastic characters a range of emotions and wishing and praying that Luna and Tristin find their brand of happiness like Enzo and Luca have found. Will what Luna & Tristin have between them ever be normal? You will be surprised at what it will take to make them both feel safe. We can't wait to see all this plays out can't wait for the next release in this series.

This series cannot be read out of order and be mindful of the trigger warnings but, this was a fantastic trilogy worth reading with wonderful dark and dangerous characters.

-I am not a fast writer. My stories take time to write. They need to brew in my head. To have book releases close together I have to write ahead. But I would much rather take the time the stories need to be the best they can be than try to rush them out. Trust me on this one.

-I love the rain, and I'm happiest when I'm sitting in a coffee shop with my laptop as it storms outside.

-I prefer to go watch movies alone, with one of those fancy coffees hidden in my purse. (Yes, I really do this.)

-My husband calls me his "little bird" because anything that sparkles catches my eye.

-I will never have enough soft blankets. Ever.

-I love ALL THE DRAMA…at least in books.

-I will forever re-watch The Phantom of the Opera with the hope that by some miracle, this time she will choose correctly.
