Crimson is the worst type of woman.

She’s curious.

And curiosity kills the cat in his line of work.

With nothing else left to lose, he’s set to rid this world of the filth that infests it. And in doing that, he’s made a lot of enemies that would like nothing better than to ruin him and every single person he cares about.

At every turn, she’s there, insinuating herself into his life. And despite his attempts to keep her at arm’s length, she blows past every single barrier he erects.

He should really stay away.

He should also make sure that she stays out of his business.

Yet, he keeps letting her in. And she keeps reminding him why he wants her to stay.

This was a fantastic read loved Crimson and Winston they have become one of our favorite couples in this series. Crimson character surprised me bold and brash and a woman who tested the limits on how to push someone. Winston was a character who needed a little shaking up to put him in a place out of his comfort zone and a man who was literally drowning in his past. This one was a page-turner right from when you started turning the pages. The story was laugh out loud at times which was needed for the secrets that were coming to light one after the other which created so much emotion and turmoil it just broke your heart. The chemistry between Crimson and Winston was out of this world they might have wanted to deny it but, it was just way too powerful. They burned up the sheets in and out of bed and that man was all oh, baby! There were so many fun moments as well as heart-wrenching ones. Loved seeing the family of brothers and sisters all working together as a team and growing closer and working on making changes that made everyone happy in the situation they found themselves in. Overall loved this one Crimson turned out to be a favorite of mine loved her wicked sense of humor her determination to go after what she considered hers and her picking the one man who was perfect for her and he for her. They were a match made in heaven and after everything, Winston deserved a slice of happiness once again his tale is heartbreaking. Also loved that there was non-stop suspense throughout this entire story.
