Talk about one hot read! Dom is Kincaid's older brother but, is not actually a Cerberus member he does work with the club on their rescue missions though, and spends a good amount of time there and is on good terms with its members.
Makayla was such a great character full of fire and sass and a beautiful sexy woman. This woman's past is tragic and emotionally tragic full of pain suffering and abuse yet, she remained a kind and caring woman full of compassion and love. Really loved her but, our hearts bleed for all she endured.
Dom what a character like OMG! What do you do with this sexy alpha who is a total dominate? Dirty talker, Dom, BDSM who loves to play rough and animal in bed but, out of it he is a gentleman who is kind and caring protective, and even a little bit possessive. My only complaint about the sexy man is he let his past relationship dictate too much of his personal life at least where women were concerned. Felt like telling the guy to get over yourself before you lose the woman who was meant to be yours.
There was a lot going on in this book surrounding the characters who were experiencing danger and suspense, healing and heartache, building friendships, and experiencing love and passion.
This was one super hot read. The chemistry that Makayla and Dom experienced was explosive their sexy scenes were hot and dirty and more than a few fan-worthy moments but it was also heartbreaking. Makalya's story will gut you and tear your heart to pieces but, we believed Dom was just the man she needed to feel protected and safe and because of that able to move on from her past with or without the man she has fallen in love with. Awesome read a page-turner and we loved it.
