This was a cute story about Afton returning home and making things right with the people her actions may have hurt in her decision to avoid her impending obligations. We loved that she faced her demons enough to come back home to the people she missed and loved not knowing if they all would hate her or not but, still felt she needed to return even if it was only for Connor's wedding, and apologize for her actions that affected so many people loved. What she did with her freedom is she created a life that made her happy.

The story was about forgiveness and understanding and friendship and love. We loved that it seemed the whole village her friends and Freya were all in cahoots together to give her dad Hamish the nudge he needed to claim the woman he had always loved.

We loved the new version of Afton she was happy loving and funny. We admired Hamish for wanting to put his daughter first even if he was willing to sacrifice the woman he loved. 

Freya was a sweetheart of a girl and we loved how protective she was of Afton when others spoke out against the woman she too had come to love. There were moments in the kitchen between them that were super sweet and moments that melted your heart.

Loved the slow-burn romance that was fun and made you smile. The characters were amazing and we got updates on all their lives it was exciting to see just how much had transpired with her friend's lives while she was off finding herself and chasing her own happily ever after. Hamish and Freya made such a cute couple but, would make an even better family. Most of all loved that so many others had found their own happily-ever-afters because one woman was brave enough to change her stars leaving everything she loved behind her.
