Another winner in this ongoing series. There was so much going on in this story the forbidden friends /

lovers that were action-packed and full of secrets and betrayals and let's not forget the surprises that happened along the way.

Raleigh was a character our heart went out to born to the powerful family that she was she never wanted the life she was born into but, had no choice but, to embrace it. With a family like the Doughtry's, which is so powerful there are always targets on their backs and are always surrounded by danger we could not fault Raleigh for not wanting that kind of life. Then there was Shane the boy she could not have who was once her friend and now has become her enemy.

Even though this book is part of a series and is a continuation of a story we felt it really could be read as a standalone also. The story was filled with chemistry and amazing characters but, it was also about second chances and we love those kinds of books. 

For us, as we have said in the past about this author is that her books are filled with what we call the feels it gives the reader everything they want in a story and yet again she delivered an action-packed romance with such great characters and yet another awesome story.

From the moment we met Shane we were drawn to the man with his troubled past and all but, what we loved most about him is that first and foremost he felt it was his job to protect Raleigh the best way he knew how to. Regardless of their pasts this couple was meant to be and we loved them as a couple. Their chemistry was beautiful.

Just another page-turner in our book loved it! The more we read this author's books the more we fall in love with the author her books are simply amazing and we are so glad we discovered her as she creates so many amazing stories and characters to fall in love with. 

We are off to a great start with this brand-new series. We felt the story was well written and it had great characters a hitman and a mafia princess with characters that were damaged and complex.

Liam was a brutal dangerous hitman working for the Irish Mafia and his job is to take out his target but, things go awry and now he wants payment for his services rendered. A plot was formed to collect but, with any plan the outcome and success may need tweaks.

Brianna the feisty princess we called her has an agenda of her own and now that she has fallen into a situation not of her making she could use it to her advantage and be a win-win situation for herself and her hitman..

This story was emotionally full of angst had characters with great chemistry was full of betrayals and downright raw and gritty our favorite type of story. We loved characters like Brianna who have a backbone and one who is just not waiting around for what fate has in store for her.

The story was also riddled with suspense and lies and betrayals that took some twists and turns. It was a story that kept you engaged from beginning to end. Just a fantastic story all around and we just loved it.

Kellan & Mia Kellan and Mia's story is about a couple of broken souls trying to run from the demons of their pasts but, it seems that no one can outrun their pasts for long. Kellan is the nerdy type and Mia is a beautiful caring woman with all those motherly traits and she is perfect for his daughter Hallie. Perhaps she will be the one to heal them both. Kellan who has been hurt and betrayed needs some light in his life and that comes in the form of Mia who is beautiful inside and out. I love a story that takes on some twists and turns we loved the unexpected turn of events. The story also had characters that had beautiful chemistry together as it makes the story emotionally charged and heartfelt. We finally got Kellans story and we learned about Mia's past also but, what we loved about this couple is that we saw them grow and blossom throughout the chapters. We love a good raw and heartfelt story and this one did not disappoint the ending was perfect. The characters were awesome. The author made us fall in love with her characters yet again. Love this continuing series and its beautifully written stories and hope the conclusion of the story puts a smile on your face as it did ours. Another fantastic read just loved it!

We love a good story that takes you on a rocky path to get their happily ever after and that their love was worth all the hardships along the way. Freya is yet another mafia princess whose life is already planned out for her she will be used to gain more power and greed.

Freya meeting Kian changed her life and vice versa he made her feel things she should not feel but, he spoke to her heart and their chemistry was undeniable. A couple who couldn't be more different, for Kian, she was the one he wanted, and since he had been fighting for the things he wanted his whole life she would be no different.

We loved that Kian was a character who was a man fiercely protective of the ones he loves and cares about. Kian and Freya had awesome chemistry no matter where they were the sparks were always there. We loved his possessiveness it looked good on the man and made us even more attractive to him. What a delicious man... Definitely one of our favorite characters in this series along with Kellan not sure we could choose between them they both made us fall for them so easily.

This couple's story was one emotional rollercoaster ride filled with a ton of action and suspense chemistry and then you had the lies to contend with. Our favorites were the secrets and twists of the story coming to life. This duo Kian and Freya made it easy for the reader to fall in love with their characters but, after reading Ms. Lumma's books for some time now she has the knack for doing that time and time again. This is one of the things we love about her he delivers time and time again with each and every story.

This dark mafia romance had everything a reader could want some twists and turns drama some witty banter a cast of amazing characters and a love worth fighting for. Another intense read and quite the page-turner once again.
