What a beautifully written story that was full of excitement, suspense, betrayals, secrets ,lies and danger lurking at every corner. What a complicated plot that was very intriguing and suspenseful so much so we couldn't put it down a page turner to say the least.

The characters in this story were simply amazing and loved Tatiana's brothers who were so protective of their sister and so loving. 

Illia Konstantin was a force to be reckoned with man was sexy as all get out, dark, dangerous, possessive and protective of his family and the woman who he has claimed as his own. The chemistry between him and Tatiana was off the charts. Talk about a hot and sexy book the sex scenes in this book were smoking hot.

Tatiana was my favorite character and loved that woman's sense of humor and her fiery personality, a woman who owns her sexuality and a woman not cowed to powerful men and love that fact that she pushed Illia's buttons. Loved that she challenged Illia but, he is right about one thing she would be the perfect Queen to reign by his side. Their past encounters make the reader curious and wondering if there is more to them than meets the eyes its almost like Tatiana has selective amnesia or missing memories concerning him or of certain events or even other acquaintances. Is someone or something messing with her memories?

Can't wait for the answers we seek this was such an intense read so much so we couldn't put it down.

Thorns of Love

I am going to start off by saying that we loved the duet and that Eva Winners has quickly moved into the top 10 of my favorite authors for dark romance/mafia romance reads.

This time around we get answers not only that there was heck of a surprise presented to us this time around that we did not see coming. Tatiana still remains a favorite of ours and we have to say cudo's to her brother Sasha for giving her made skills if she were ever in the need of them let's just say she impressed even us with those made skills of hers. Grins!

The heat between both Tatiana and Illia were even more explosive this time around that woman is one lucky lady. This continues to be one smoking hot read!

More suspense kicked in lies and deceits uncovered and what's happening to these families is more than just revenge there is another key player that has become a threat to all the key families in power and this person is beyond just being sinister they are a depraved lunatic.

Loved that we got to see more of Isla Illia's sister what a hoot we loved how well she and Tatiana got along so well and we think we are going to find out that she is not as innocent as her brother thinks she is. Connected  through friendship to some very powerful families time will tell if those friendships become allies or your foes.

Loved this conclusion to this duet it was another page turner not only that we loved that this author created a character like Tatiana that challenges the men that live in their world. She is strong and brave and loyal and you quickly learn that she is not only protective of her family she has taken Isla under her wing as well. She demands a partnership and respect from her husband and lover and she will never be the kind of woman to obey her husband in all things quite the opposite she will challenge him at ever turn if it is something she is passionate about and will never be a woman who likes being left in the dark of the goings on of her family.

The conclusion really ties up all of those loose ends and Tatiana is finally going to be able to move on but, not without heartache and pain our heart really went out to her but, in the end she showed us why Illia has chosen her as his Queen she is his equal in every way not only his love and soulmate but, his heart. Out of all the flames Tatiana has gained a beautiful family of her own.
