We have to say we are loving this series. The characters are amazing both good and evil. So many moving parts in this story. The story was a continuation of an ongoing plot that intensified got more complicated and took a few twists and turns. For us we loved the story it was fast paced and intriguing. We loved that the story Cosen aka protectors was made up of different paranormal's with all different abilities that added to the intrigue to the story and we loved that.

We also loved that each protector's personality traits were so different it added to the spice and intimacy of the characters their bonds heartfelt their chemistry between each protector smoking hot and sizzling. Loved the fact that Cassie took the time to bond slowly and individually with each chosen mate of hers Damien though he went full throttle to claim his mate.

I normally don't read these kinds of stories so this tale was a nice change we loved it from cover to cover I loved all the craziness and the drama and its a reminder to add these kinds of stories to my reading lists more often.

What a delightful read it was fast paced and full of drama. Loved all the characters good and bad but, we have to say we have a soft spot for Gabe but, Damien is so sexy with his alpha demanding ways, his dirty mouth, and is so forward he seems so abrupt but, his bond with Cassie is changing him in ways that scares him but, even if softer around her he will never lose his cockiness. 

Cassie being the most powerful witch of the Howe clan of witches is a magnet for trouble but, this time around it's the deadly kind and no matter how powerful she is she will need her Cosen/ protector's to help fight the evil to save them all.

Loved that the chosen Cosen were all different paranormal lending their different abilities to the cause. These men who enter her life are not all hearts and flowers type men there dangerous some carry baggage are deadly and hard all may lust after her but, some of them will fight what fate has in store for them all.

Loved the slow burn bonding between each character it was sweet and intriguing as you learn about that individual and their liabilities are about their past and some of those abilities are super cool. Things are heating up between the characters and things are starting to get really spicy.

Overall we loved the story of all the different magic elements with good magic versus the dark voodoo magic jumping in and out of the different planes. Gypsy was another character we found intriguing she was a force to be reckoned with. But, what we loved most about the story is how Cassie was able to connect with her past ancestors and they never seemed to let her down when she needed them most. Can't wait to see where the twist of Dmitri' goes. Going forward they all need to sharpen their abilities to defeat their unknown enemy for the sake of their town as well as the lives of their loved ones. An awesome read for us.
