The story was packed with a ton of suspense and mystery, and tons and tons of sexual tension and wanting. My heart went out to this couple because of being a spy and also in the line of work/field that both Drake and Taylor are, seeds of distrust are always there, and it only takes one of those in their circle to plant the seed or to pick at those insecurities to ruin the best thing that could have been.
We loved Taylor, so smart and sexy and loyal and very good at her job. Drake the Dom who wants to win the lady's heart but, his neanderthal ways and protective instincts have him pushing her further and further away, thank God Big Tag was there to give him a kick in the as* the man needed. God, we loved Big Tag that man knows how to make a woman laugh, and we look for him in ever book to resurface.
Page turner for us hooked us right from the moment we started turning the pages, we could not put it down. The story is complicated with a lot of moving parts it also deals with a lot of emotions the characters are having, some revenge some regrets and love as Drake and Kyle have intimate ties to their target at large. A smoking hot read for us. On a more of a personal note, would love to give a shout-out to the author for writing this story during one of her darkest times, she is a true warrior.
