Bram and Dory's story was so heartfelt it wrecked our heart. Hands down, Dory is one of our favorite characters in this series. We loved the story but, it was messy and painful, and we shed many tears right along with Dory.

Although Dory's painful past breaks our heart, we loved that we got to know who she really was in this story and just not the glimpses that we got of her in previous books. Dory is a survivor and with everything she had to endure in her life she still remained loving and compassionate and caring and if anyone who looked beyond the surface got the gentle and caring woman and a fierce friend who would always have your back.

Bram is not seen in a flattering light in this story, and honestly he doesn't deserve the goodness and love of a woman like Dory, he is only lucky that Dory is a forgiving soul.

My heart was breaking this entire story as we constantly felt Dory's pain and sorrow. This woman impressed me with all things Dory in what she has achieved in life and the obstacles that she has overcome.

Overall, quite the page turner for us. All Dory's life struggles and pain and sorrow makes sense now, and we hope those responsible will get exactly what coming to them and then some, they all deserve to be in hell. Bram better get down on his hands and knees daily, and thank god for the gift he gave him and cherish it always.
