The Butcher is a standalone romance with NO cliffhanger and NO CHEATING.

We have to say we really enjoyed this one, wasn't expecting Billy to get his own book but, we are so glad he did. We knew that once Billy found someone to bring those walls down around his heart, we were going to be on an emotional roller coaster while he worked out things in his head and heart and yes this story was an emotional one. Even though Billy had always been a side character, we were rooting for him to find some other passion outside his daughter and work, and he found that in the most unlikely place and one that was about to shake the very foundation of his very controlled environment and also his life. Also, we loved the fact that we saw a very different side of Butcher/Billy and what he was truly capable of.

Everleigh was a character that was strong and passionate as well and smart and sexy but, also so down to earth and even in the most horrendous situation she found herself in she made a friend.

Overall a fascinating tale of drama., romance, suspense, with amazing and engaging characters. Love, a story where love and romance is found when neither looking nor expecting it, that makes what you find all the more rewarding and even more precious. We have to say the ending was the best and a curveball we did not see coming...
