I’m not even supposed to be roaming around on my own, outside of the royal palace where my father the Sheikh rules my very existence, but I just can’t resist the lure of dancing . . . the lure of that man, Aris Volkov.

After one night at The Lykos—when the club comes under attack by my deranged uncle—I’m forced from one captivity to another. That’s right. Aris takes me. He kidnaps me. He despises my father as much as I do, and he’s just ruthless enough to use me to get what he wants . . . absolute vengeance.

I used to fantasize about Aris but now I’m determined to hate him. Easier said than done. He treats me like his own personal plaything, introducing me to delights of the flesh. He doesn’t care that I’m a royal princess. That my modesty has been protected all my life. That I have zero experience with men and I’m embarrassingly out of my depths.

Man! This was one hot read! I found myself fanning myself! Lol! Loved the characters, all of them were awesome, especially the ones in Aris's employ anyway. Aris was a character that was dark and dangerous, sexy a sin, and a sex god. Just ask Roya. This man was intense and all about sexual gratification. Loved that Roya got beneath that armor of his, made him feel and want and desire things he felt he had no business feeling and ever being able to keep. Roya was a delight, she made us laugh. Loved her sassiness and defiance, and loved that she challenged Aris at every turn. We loved that she was brave enough to set out on her own and experience life and wonders and grab a bit of happiness, knowing these glimpses of pleasure would have to last a lifetime before real life caught up to her once again. Aris and Roya had off-the-charts chemistry and the perfect woman to stand by his side, be in his bed, and be able to handle the underworld he lived in. This couple's sexual encounters are highly erotic no matter when, where, or how. Can you say fireworks? Love the plot the characters the suspense and that the story of the Brava boss took place in a country not his own yet, made it his home had status, and made a fortune as well. The story was not your typical mafia/brava romance, and we loved the change-up. Roya and Aris's story was intense and heartbreaking. I was rooting for them but, life is not always fair and their trials and battles would be uphill ones for both of them but, Aris has to be the one fighting for them both as he was the one who threw away what could have been. Loved this story from cover to cover and the more I read this author's works the more I fell in love with her as her characters are always unforgettable.
