Release & Review for BLOOD OATH by Amy McKinley

Release Date: October 26

Tragedy brought them together, and tragedy tore them apart.

Heir to a throne, Chicago Mafia underboss Enzo Vitale will do anything to keep Sofia safe, but his presence in her life puts a target on her back. He must protect the love of his life at all costs, even if it means staying away from her—a goal that runs against every fiber of his being.

Up-and-coming fashion designer Sofia La Rosa fell in love with her best friend years ago. She’ll sacrifice anything for Enzo, even as a wall of secrets steadily builds between them.

But secrets don’t stay hidden forever. When the enemy learns of Sofia’s involvement in a former cover-up, they’re out for blood, driving her to the very man who vowed to be her savior no matter the cost.
This is a brand-new author for us, and we really enjoyed our first read by them. We really enjoyed the characters, especially Enzo, we just loved him, loved how possessive and protective he was with Sofia.

From the moment we started turning the pages, we were already engrossed in the story and stayed clued to the pages to the very end. The story was loaded with suspense and mystery, and we have to say that there still is a mystery that surrounds Elena that still need answers.

Loved Sofia and Enzo as a couple, they were perfect for one another and even on the outs with one another, their love clear as day. Their situation seemed doomed but, from the moment we met Enzo since the minute he claimed his girl, the consequences be damned.

We are looking forward to Stephano's and Ems story, and we have to say all in all we loved Enzo and Sophia's story we fell head over heels in love with both of them, Sophia turned out to be quite the little warrior.
