The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Heavy

Dina is off limits. She’s my brother Wall’s little sister. She’s wired differently, and despite the malice aforethought, she’s innocent.
She wants me to help her bury a body.
I want to unravel her beautiful brain.
I want to let her explore me—and watch the light in her eyes when she discovers what she needs and how badly she needs it.
I want her.
I’m the Steel Bones Motorcycle Club president and CEO of Steel Bones Construction. Around here, I’m the last word and the first in the line of fire.
I’m Heavy Ruth.
I don’t get to have what I want.

Dina

He’s ruthless, and he knows how to dispose of a body. That’s all I’m looking for in a man.
I’m not catching feelings. I don’t do emotion. My frequency is sensation.
So what if he’s too much in the most mind-blowing way? So what if I’m curious about him—and I’m not curious about anyone.
This is just a conspiracy to commit murder.
Not love.
I might have said “I do,” but those are only words.
Right?

Heavy, the seventh book in the Steel Bones Motorcycle Club series, features Dina Wall, a crossover character from Hitting the Wall. The novel can be read as a standalone, but for maximum enjoyment, consider reading Hitting the Wall and the other books in the Steel Bones series first. Intended only for adult readers.
HEA guarnteed.

Wow! What an awesome story where two characters who seemed to be total opposites collide and two people who have been likened to being geniuses. We loved seeing this couple fall in love, it was such a wild ride in such a short amount of time. Their story was not a typical one but, it was theirs, and they are going to have one hell of a story to pass on when they have children. Their journey on falling in love was a sensual one, so many surprises if highly unusual seemed to be perfect for one another and even though Dina was the oddball out she clearly fit with Heavy and his club members as well.

Heavy was a character that we absolutely loved, we loved what attracted Dina to him in the first place was her mind and how it worked, and he saw off the bat that she was special. Dina is on the Autism Spectrum but, a high function one and some who would call her a genius. We also learned Heavy too was highly intelligent and had some pretty powerful dreams but, made sacrifices for is family. Dina held information to an old mystery needing solving, and she had the last bit of the puzzle to solve that mystery, but, at what cost? And to Heavy and his club?

Heavy's first thought of her is that she is a pixie but, he is baffled by the fact that he is attracted and lusting after her when she is far from everything he is attracted to in the first place. Is it her quirks? Her mind? Or just perhaps this little slip of a female is not afraid of him at all, his size a demeanor and mountain looks intrigue her, not turn her off. We will say that if we were not already halfway in love with the man, we were definitely in love when he slips into Dina's pursue in the strip club sensing she was in need of her sunglasses, one of her coping mechanisms. We loved that he always sensed her needs, it was so heart melting because it became instinctual to the man and this is how he took care of his woman without even realizing he did it. Not only that, but we love how protective and possessive her had become of his pixie, just more swoon worthy moments.

Dina was an awesome character as well, it was hard not to fall in love with her and her quirks in her mind as well, and experiencing all her firsts with her seeing everything through her eyes for the first time. I found that a lot of people underestimated her and her capabilities and how she chooses to handle situations that happen in her life. Some may call her an introvert and that might be true to a certain extent but, when she was with Heavy she was like a completely different person she bantered with the man matched whits with was adventurous and loving and sensual. We loved her quirky personality and loved the fact that her ASD did not hold her back when she took the chance to spread her wings.

Overall all we loved the story from cover to cover, what a page turner the story started off with a bang and had one major complication. We loved the other MC characters and their old ladies and getting a glimpse into the lives of them and even Harper who comes off as the biggest B we had warmed up towards the end. We love how opposites fall in love but, to our thinking, they had a lot in common, especially when you can talk about everything and everything with your partner even if it is just the little things in life that make you happy.
