Rosana Mazzilli is in trouble—big-time trouble. Her primary goal in life was to be nothing like her sisters. She’s a college graduate, she works in finance, and she wants nothing to do with the Zanetti famiglia, specifically the Made Men of the famiglia.

Until one day when she needs them—she can go nowhere but to the Made Man who saved her from an abusive aunt. When she runs to him for help, she gets much more than she ever bargained for.

Salvatore Macchio is a failure. He was unable to guard the one person he was born to protect—his little sister. Salvatore will never reconcile that he neglected to save Abriana. It haunts him—nightly.

A marriage stemming from a need to protect and pure fear. Can Salvatore protect Rosana from a fate worse than death? Mistakes can be deadly, but Rosana is determined to save not only herself but the baby that grows inside of her, too.

What an awesome story that was filled with a ton of emotion, and yet again another story that had some really amazing characters that you could not help but to fall in love with.

Salvatore was a character that we were already half in love with from the previous book. He was a character who gravitated to the wounded souls and became their protectors and in this instance he became Rosana's salvation but, it also gave him a chance to take what he really wanted. Although we saw a darker side to Salvatore this time around and how dark and dangerous he could be protecting those he loves, he always retained that sweet and loving side of his personality. We saw the inside of his heart and learned of his vulnerabilities and also learned of his regrets but, deep down, he needed to let go of his guilt and he had to let go of the past, or he will truly lose the treasure he has just found. We just loved him, even if we wanted to smack some sense into him a time or two.

Rosana although naive was a just a sweetheart. We found her to be beautiful and loving and a wonderful woman inside and out. We might not understand how naive she could be but, we did like the fact that she wanted more out of her life and want to be different from the other mafia princessa's and live her life on her own terms and even though she made a lot of makes, she lived. Not only that, but we loved the fact she never made excuses and owned her mistakes but, had she not fallen she would not be in the arms and married to a man who makes her flushed and all hot and bothered, something that has never happened to her before.

We loved Salvi and Rosana as a couple, they were beautiful together, their chemistry off the charts and just what the other needed. Talk about tons of hot and sexy scenes, this couple went up in flames when they came together.

This story had a convoluted plot and the target was someone to never would have expected, which made for and interesting story with a mystery to solve, never knowing all the key players to the bitter end. One thing is for sure, never mess with the Zanetti family, they protect their own at all cost. One of the little things we love about the series is that it has a connection with the Beasts, so every once in a while we get a glimpse of our favorite characters all over again.

As with many characters, Salvatore and Rosana story was not all about rainbows and unicorns it had some tough situations and many obstacles to overcome but, sometime the pain is worth the fire you need to walk through first to end up with the women who was meant to be your one and only true love forever and always.

As an only child, Hayley Faiman had to entertain herself somehow. She started writing stories at the age of six and never really stopped.

Born in California, she met her now husband at the age of sixteen and married him at the age of twenty in 2004. After all of these years together, he’s still the love of her life.

Hayley’s husband joined the military and they lived in  Oregon,where he was stationed with the US Coast Guard. They moved back to California in 2006, where they had two little boys. Recently, the four of them moved out to the Hill Country of Texas, where they adopted a new family member, a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.

Most of Hayley’s days are spent taking care of her two boys, going to the baseball fields for practice, or helping them with homework. Her evenings are spent with her husband and her nights—those are spent creating alpha book boyfriends.
