The only thing better than having someone who loves you? Having four.
My memories returned and the horror of my mortal past confirmed, I can’t hide anymore. Not from the world, not from my feelings, and certainly not from the people I’m coming to call family.
But the world is growing more unstable by the day—the magical communities are picking sides and the humans are growing restless at the early signs of war—so it looks like it’s time for the Horsemen of the Apocalypse to come out of hiding.
Damn it all to hell.
Look out world, Horseman of Magic is here!
Connie groans. “Could you two stop geeking out every two seconds.” But she has a smile on her face that lets me know she’s joking.
“Puuuhhlease, if I were geeking out over you, you’d love it.”
She winks. “Yeah, but instead you’re geeking out over some long-dead beautiful Fae Queen.” She pouts.
“Don’t worry. You’re way more beautiful.”
She blushes, and Arrie laughs. “That you are, Con.” He squeezes my hand slightly, and I squeeze back, letting him know that I don’t mind. She is beautiful. I would be more pissed at him if he didn’t think so.
