Blake lived and loved the land just as much as he did, she had a soft and gentle way with horses, and a special gift to heal broken animals. There wasn't much he didn't love about Blake - and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for her.
All he had to do was figure out how to tell her without ruining a lifetime of friendship. It had to be done.
A life without Blake by his side was a life he didn't want to live. But once Hendrixx lasso's his cowgirl, his problems get a whole lot bigger. Loving Blake and keeping her safe just might be his undoing.
What a great read this was it was fun and flirty and a lot of fun and the story had awesome characters.
I loved Hendrixx and his overprotective nature along with his possessiveness but, he clearly was just a down to earth guy who only needed the love of his life to make his life complete. We just loved him!
Blake was a beautiful sassy horse whisper who was quite the daredevil when It came to her adventuress nature and is the type who doesn't think before she leaps which drives Hendrixx utterly crazy which in turn gives the reader quite a few laughs when he tries to rein her in. Blake no matter her antics were clearly and hopelessly in love with that crazy ass cowboy as well.
I loved Blake and Hendrixx's chemistry as it was super hot and their romps are even hotter. I loved their cat and mouse game it was super sweet and a lot of fun with all that sexual frustration going on. lol
Overall we loved it from beginning to end. We love all the brothers but, Hendrixx is one of our favorites he was just a sweetheart even with his overbearing nature but, what we loved most was that he let Blake spread her wings even knowing she was it for him and let her fly all the while looking out and protecting and loving her even if it was behind the scenes proving he too was worthy of her love.
This was just one of those reads that makes you smile on the inside as well as the outside.
