Wow ! What a great story! For a short story this story was full of a whole lot of fun and tons of laughs but, was also filled with a ton of emotion.
Duke after returning from war is floundering a bit and has taken to the road and become what some would call living the life of a nomad.
Duke after falsely being incarcerated and released due to his father money and power he is released from his hell and comes face to face with the women he was destined to met love and marry and live a long and happy life but, not before making some very powerful friends who would eventually become part of his Pearl's life forever.
Right from the very first pages I new I was going to love this story and I did just that.I loved Duke who was sexy and bold and definitely had game even if he went about it in a slightly corny way but, OMG! did he make us laugh out loud with his antics.
I loved Duke and Pearl's first encounter as we found her intriguing and sassy and searching for a bit of adventure herself if she would just give in and give that sexy devil in disguise a lucky break.
Overall we loved this story that was all about and world wind romance with a couple who were destined to be soulmates.We loved getting to know more about Duke and Pearl who have become so much apart of the Burning Saints lives. Who would have thought that going to jail would change your life forever....
