As Rhona Lorimer waits for her new boss to

arrive, she reckons things can’t get much

worse. The manager of the Scottish estate has

to explain to her new American boss that the

estate is in ruins and there’s no money left

. When the drop dead gorgeous cowboy turns

up in full Highland regalia, looking like he fell

off a shortbread tin, Rhona knows she has her

 work cut out
The locals don’t take to Lord Cole Macallan, so

Rhona feels obliged to show him hospitality

. But the guy is hot. Can Rhona fight her

feelings for her new boss as their worlds collide

and they discover just how much Scotland and

America are two countries divided by a

common language… but brought together by

 mutual passions?

This book contains scenes of an adult nature.

Our Review

This is the first book I have had the pleasure of

reading by author Em Taylor and I am so glad

I read it. This was an absolutely fun book to

read. Right from the start the sparks and

snark and laughter begins. From the moment

Texas cowboy oil man Cole shows up in

 Rhona in the parking lot.

There is no way you pick up this book and not

. Rhona is worried before Cole arrives and is on

edge when he does but right always the sexy

cowboy is drawn to her and is winning her

over while learning about his inheritance and

in the book they enhance the story and the

When I tell you that there is no way you walk

away from this book not falling for the sexy

cowboy Cole I am serious. The man just rocks.

I think I'm jealous of Rhona lol.

What a great book Em. Well done.

About the Author

Em was born and brought up in the Central Belt of Scotland and still lives there. She was told as a child she had an over active imagination--as if that is a bad thing. She's traded her dreams of owning her own island, just like George in the Famous Five to hoping to meet her own Mr Darcy one day. But her imagination remains the same.
