Katie Parks has been on her own since the age of fifteen. All
she’s ever wanted is a place to call her own—a life that is wholly hers that no
one can take away. She thought she finally had it, but with the strike of a
single match, everything she worked so hard for is reduced to a pile of smoking
ash. And she almost is too.
Now she’s being stalked by someone who’s decided it’s her time
to die. The only thing standing in the path of her blazing death is sexy
firefighter Holt Arkain.
Katie’s body might be safe with Holt… but her heart is another
story.
As the danger heats up, sparks fly and the only thing Katie
knows for sure is that her whole life is about to go up in flames.

TORCH PLAYLIST
I have a confession to make. I don’t listen to music when I
write. I know. I’m super boring. I don’t listen to music because then I end up
singing along, dancing in my panties and typing the words instead of actually
writing the story.
That’s not really good for business and my children are
traumatized every time I dance in my panties. (Oh please, you know you do it
too).
Oh that and the fact that when I do listen to music its usually
from Disney because thats what my kids want to hear! Save me now!!!!
So, this playlist isn’t really what I listened to while I wrote
TORCH, because I listened to nothing.
But these are a few songs I think would go great with the book!
#1 Girl on Fire by Alicia Keys
#2 Stronger by Kelly
Clarkson
#3 It’s My Life by Bon
Jovi - a tribute to firefighters
#4 Tip of my Tongue by
Civil Wars
#5 Bruno Mars - It will
Rain
#6 Strip Me by Natasha
Bedingfield
#7 Adele- Set Fire to
the Rain
So those are some of the songs I think goes well with Torch!
Have you read TORCH? What do you think?

Cambria Hebert is the author of the young adult paranormal Heven and Hell series, the new adult Death Escorts series, and the new adult Take it Off series. She loves a caramel
latte, hates math and is afraid of chickens (yes, chickens). She went to
college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a
degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good
hair. She currently lives in North Carolina with her husband and children (both
human and furry) where she is plotting her next book. You can find out more

What would you have done differently if you were the main
character of your book?
Nothing! I think she did
everything right. :) LOL.
What was your inspiration behind this book?
I just wanted to write
something fun and steamy and who doesn’t love a little mystery? I thought it
was a fun combination.
Why did you become a writer?
To entertain people, to
give them somewhere to escape to. That’s my favorite thing about reading,
getting out of my own head for a while.
As a reader and writer I think it is important to get to know
your fans and make a connection with them as an author who takes the extra step
to hear what their fans think and want in their continued writing is continued
success and key to selling more books .Do you agree with that ?
Absolutely! I don’t even
know if I would still be writing if it wasn’t for the readers and the support I
have gotten from them. After all a book is just pages with words until someone
reads it.
Do you have a favorite author or authors?
I have many! Amber Garza,
Cameo Renae, Airicka Phoenix, Tara Brown, Lizzy Ford, Jennifer Armentrout, Abbi
Glines, Lacey Weatherford
Do you like to write your books in a continuing series ?
I do, and I have done it.
I think it really gives readers a chance to connect with their readers. But I
also like the flexibility of a series of stand alones, like with the Take It
Off series. It allows me to explore different ideas and settings.
If you could date any character from any book, who would it be
and why?
Ahhh thats really really
hard. There are so many I would choose. Is it bad I would probably pick
Charming… he’s from my Death Escorts series, the book Charmed. I would date him
because he really got under my skin. I loved writing him. I loved spending time
with him. He was all kinds of bad but he
was sooo good too. LOL.
What kinds of books do you like to read in your spare time ?
I like to read
paranormal, new adult contemporary, young adult and adult. I’m not really that
picky. lol.
Do you cry when writing
sad scenes?
Yes! Of course I do. I
blubber like a big idiot and clutch tissues. I’m very dramatic.
Did you have a Cover Designer ?
Yes, all of my covers are
designed by Regina Wamba at Mae I Design.
Who is your fictional boyfriend or girlfriend crush ?
I have a crush on Beckett
from Star Struck by Amber Garza.
If you were able to dine and have a one on one with your
favorite writer/author who would it be ?
Well… I would love to be
able to have dinner with Amber Garza and Cameo Renae but I talk to them on a
daily basis (online) so I would probably choose Jennifer Armentrout. I had the
pleasure of listening to her speak at an event and I really enjoyed what she
had to say.
Do just re-read your favorite books ?
I often don’t, not
because I don’t want too but because I don’t have time. My reading is limited
due to all the time I spend writing so when I have time to read I want to read
all the books on my list!
Do you ever get in a reading slump like your readers do ?
Sure! When that happens I
just pick up a book by an author I love and usually that helps. Or I write. ;)
What is the funniest book you ever read ?
In all honesty I can’t
remember the title. I read it years ago before I started writing I’m still on
the lookout to find it again!
Thank you for having me
here today!

Cool interview Joelle and for someone who doesn't really listen to music while writing, that's a cool playlist you got there.
